Art & Frame is a one stop shop for art related services. William Bock MFA is an associate of the AIC (American Institute for the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works) and a member of the American Society of Appraisers. He has over 30 years experience in picture framing, frame repairs, art restoration, art appraisals, paper conservation, antique map restoration, and gallery management. The Gallery also offers contemporary paintings, prints, sculpture and artist made gifts and is the home of the Studio of internationally published artist William Bock.

History

Established in 1993.

Opened in Florida in 1993 by William Bock, Art & Frame shop’s history goes back to its origins and continued partnership with the Williams Gallery formerly of Princeton, NJ. Three artists with the name of William; Douglas William Bock, William Bradford Bock and Jonathan William Bock under the tutelage of artist Ernest William Bock and Gallery creator Marylou Bock continue a family legacy of involvement in the arts dating back to central and western Europe in the 1800’s. The Galleries are now merged in South Florida in its current location.

Business Owner

Born in Chicago, artist William Bock began his professional career at Indiana University, followed by an apprenticeship at the Johnson Atelier Technical Institute and School of Sculpture in Trenton, New Jersey. He received his Masters of Fine Arts degree at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore in 1987. An Associate of the American Institute for the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works and A member the American Society of Art Appraisers He has provided restoration, conservation, appraisal and framing services to State Farm, The Ft. Lauderdale Museum of Art & The Asbury Collection of Antique Maps.

William Bock has exhibited extensively throughout the United States and has participated in several museum exhibitions. He has won numerous awards for his painting and his work is included in many prestigious collections including Merrill Lynch, AT&T, Allstate, The National Save the sea turtle foundation, the United States Embassy Bahamas and the IGFA fishing hall of Fame.
