Davie Discount Liquors & Wine

The is a great place for liquor located in the publix shopping center in plantation. Shopping center means lots of easy parking.
Upon entering you will see that the store is much longer that expected. They have many rows of wine and liquor with refrigerators in the back for their beer and white wine.
Everything is organized really nicely.
They have their specials in the front.
The prices are the cheapest I have ever seen and the staff is super friendly and eager to give recommendations and help.
They offer periodic wine tastings and parties.
The place is always very clean.

Wow! What a selection! This place is so much bigger than you think it is going to be. I would wager that there isn’t much that you wouldn’t be able to find here. They have a great selection of everything. It’s awesome that a family owned store gives Total Wine a run for they’re money. Oh, did I say money? Yeah, that too. Their prices are super competitive and you get great service by an extremely knowledgeable owner, Shiv. If he can’t answer your question right away, he will have your answer in a jiffy. I rarely drink wine and know little about it. Shiv is just the person to give you a suggestion that will make you look like a superstar. I love to support our local businesses so this is my choice! Thanks for keeping our whistles wet!

Awesome place, they could use a little more room though. Still, they had a Last Snow a week after the release date.

What a great gem of a liquor store! Was recently introduce to this place by my sister-​in-​law and so glad she did! The owner Shiv is so nice and super helpful, takes all that thinking of deciding which wines to purchase, just tell him what you normally drink and he’ll have many suggestions for you! Also the girl that works there with him is great also! Went there last week for a wine tasting and enjoyed it very much, bought a few bottles of new wines I had never had but tasted them and loved them! The wine tasting was a success!!!

If Total Wine doesn’t have what your looking for, this place does! Total Wine even calls this store for reference on things they stock, plus it’s a local small business.

This is my «go to» place for wine. They have a wonderful selection and he helps you pick out THE perfect bottle for you. Very customer service oriented. They beat Publix’s prices and you get such quality service. He can’t be beat!

The primary purpose of being a discount liquor stores is to offer an advantage on price. After stopping by the pharmacy and the big name, high price supermarket, I was extremely disappointed to find that this discount liquor store was the most expensive of the three! If shopping for price is of value to you, don’t waste your time here like I did.

Great Place. Great Selections. Shiv is the best. He has opened bourbons for me to sample a couple of times. He knows his stock and his customers likes. They have wine tastings although have not attended one yet. Friends have enjoyed them though.

Great place, fully stocked and great prices. You won’t find a better place in Davie.

This place is a hidden gem, and I would have never found it if it weren’t for a coupon in Hometown Magazine! I have now been to this store 3 or 4 times over the last few months. I can absolutely not believe the selection. This is a place you should plan on spending some time. If you are looking to restock the bar with some unusual items, you will find them here.
I was already a fan, but tonight they outdid themselves. They had a wine tasting night. Cost was a very reasonable $ 15.00. They had a few tables set up throughout the store, each featuring a few wines. They give you a pamphlet listing each station, and the featured wines. Winery reps were pouring, and were more happy to answer questions. A nice selection of snacks were served, which made for some great pairings. I need to find out when they are having this little soirée again!
