Davie Thrift Store raises money to support shelters in saving abandoned and abused dogs, cats, and horses. We are a 501©3 non profit, giving money to animal aid inc. and s. fl. spca horse rescue. We raise money with generous donations (tax ded.) of clean clothing, small furniture costume jewelry, kitchen items. home décor’ items, etc.

History

Established in 2008.

Davie thrift store for animal aid started on stirling rd in davie Fl., did wonderfully, and has moved to a little bit bigger beautiful new location on 441 one blk south of griffin, west side… as of August 1^st 2014, to help save animals. So many wonderful people support us with their generous donations, so we can help save animals. The mgr. Stacey Sherman along with the other wonderful volunteers, is so dedicated. Thanks to Animal lovers and lovers of thrift, we continue to help our four footed friends, A LOT.

Stacey has always been involved with dogs, cats, and horses her whole 63 yrs. Owning several over that period of time. Loving animals, saving some horses in the mid 1990’s, being very good at selling and retail… she decided to put the two together, and do something very important for animals.
