Stopped by in passing, what a great decision! We enjoyed the 2 slices of cheese for $ 5 lunch. The crispy chicken caprese wrap was unreal. Definitely will be coming back to try more of the menu

«The pizza is usually good, and the service was good in the past when ordering for pick up. Last week, however, wasn’t up to par.
I was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes, so I headed over like usual. Upon arrival, I was charged for my pizza, and I tipped at the counter, like I always do.
The girl behind the counter went on to tell me that the delivery driver took my pizza and that I had to wait for them to make another. I demanded my money back as she didn’t seem to understand that the reason one calls ahead to order is so that the food will generally be ready to take home. Had I wanted to wait a while for a pizza, I wouldn’t have called in, nor driven around looking for a parking spot and avoiding the many pedestrians, and simply would’ve ordered at the counter as a walk-​in customer.
There was no offer for a discount, or larger size upgrade, or anything. All I got was a blank look from the girl who seemed to have no concept of why a person would call in and pre-​order.
I actually would’ve waited had she not charged me first. I understand they are busy — as am I. But to charge me, receive a tip, and THEN tell me that I have to wait for them to make me a new pie, is utterly unacceptable.»

I would give them four stars, but they are too stingy with their toppings…

Have passed this place hundreds on time while visiting this shopping center. Mostly because I am not a fan of Italian food, not my 1^st choice. It was pouring sideways so with no other option, we came here. I definitely did not want PIZZA or PASTA. I opened the menu and to my surprise, there are many food options.
We ordered the Fried Mozzarella ($ 7.99) and Meatballs ($ 4.99 /​2 per order) as a starter. The Fried Mozzarella were 3 huge triangle pieces with a side of marinara. Two huge meatballs with sauce. The Fried Mozzarella were nicely breaded… reminded me of a croquetta. The sauce was hot and sweet. I wasn’t a fan of the meatballs, mainly because I’ve been eating chicken meatballs lately and got used to that taste. So far, it was a lot of food and we were getting full. We only ate one of the triangles.
We also ordered the Crispy Chicken Caprese Wrap ($ 8.99). Absolutely delicious, I just wish it would have been a little hotter in temperature. It also needed a side of something, maybe a salad or fruit. I ended up using the meatball sauce to dip it in.

People at this restaurant are morons. Asked me my address 5 times then told me to hold on. Next person picked up phone and asked me my address 5 more times. They then told me they don’t deliver to us because they only deliver within 5 miles. We are actually only 2 miles. We have lots of food choices and one run by incompetent people will be crossed of our list.

I’ve gone to eat in a few times and the puzza was decent. I had a house full of hungry kids and decided to order delivery from them. It took an hour and a half to get here, then the delivery girl argued with me over the phone that she went to that apt and it was the wrong one, then I went outside to explain which apt it was and she was just pulling into the complex, the pizza wasn’t even warm it was cold but I was forced to deal with it since the kids were already waiting so long. Spoke with the manager and he didn’t seem to even care.

I’m really pizza picky… the cheese slice I ordered was gone in seconds. The crust was nice and thin and floppy… mmmm! The cheese was good too, but the sauce could have used a tweak… but if u r hungry for a plain slice it works!

Try the grandma pizza! Delicious to say the least. Good for meat eaters and vegetarians alike.

Some of the better pizza I’ve found in South Florida. I can’t say anything to the meals as I’ve only ever had the pizza and the cannolis and garlic rolls. The pizza is really good, my only complaint is if you by it by the slice, it’s not always reheated thoroughly, and I can’t stand cold/​luke warm pizza. I’ve also had really hit and miss service here. Sometimes it’s good, and sometimes the waitress is rushed, rude, and inattentive. I’ll continue to come here for the super cheap delicious pizza though. I love the NY style, and a lot of places that claim to be NY style really aren’t but this one is. Love have a thin crust slice I can fold just like I do in NY.

Good food, great service! Aimee was so lovely and all smiles. A little pricey I think, but the food and service made it worthwhile. Will definitely be back. Will be recommending the place too.

Ordered a medium pizza and it came out raw. Took a bite and it was all doughy. There was no crisp to it all. Told our waitress and she said there was an emergency and it was a new cook! Paid my bill and left. Don’t think I would return and highly do not recommend their pizza if your looking for something good!

Cheese, cheese and good thin crust — fully cooked NYC style pizza! Bam! That pizza looked so good, I pulled off a piece and hot strings of mozzarella, yes! Not too much sauce. This was flipping great! I do not eat much pizza, I always go ugh when suggested. But after reviews by a few trusted Unilocalers I said to Hubby wanna try? He almost fell over! Lol! Enough said!
Large cheese pie is $ 13.99 and extra toppings are $ 1.50.
I got us cannoli for dessert. 1 was about 5inches and crispy and good size not a bite size, satisfaction size. Yes! $ 4.99 for 2.

Tuesday is $ 1.00 sliced Pizza! Slices are Huge!
I’m picky about my pizza. Oh! This is a pet peeve for me greasy, greasy pizza! Yuck! This is not at all even with extra cheese.
Keep baking guys! It’s delish!

First time here at around 9:00 in Friday night. The place was surprisingly busy which inspired confidence. It is an open kitchen layout and I guess to balance the heat emanating from the back, the AC was pumpin! It was arctic cold.
Our server was friendly but not as attentive or thorough as we would have liked. He seemed to be scurrying around although most people had left by 9:30. We got the fried mozzarella before we got the soup and rolls he promised after taking the order. My bf loved the mozzarella because it had a Panko type breading and was super crunchy on the outside… It also comes in triangle shapes instead of the log shaped stick. I personally prefer sticks. We finally got the soup and it was ok. It could have come out of a can. Still no rolls.
Dinner came out next, I got the breaded chicken and broccoli Stromboli. I must say it was pretty good. My bf put in a complicated order… He wanted chicken parm but with Alfredo sauce instead of red sauce. And with penne Alfredo. I think the server was trying to be helpful and avoid upcharges but he wasn’t listening. And lo and behold, when it came out the chicken was not the breaded type you get with a chicken parm. He was kind of apologetic and admitted it was his mistake but didn’t really offer to change anything or make it right. He offered extra rolls and we had to point out that we had never received any rolls to begin with. My bf didn’t want to complain and tried to eat it… He loved the penne Alfredo but left all the chicken behind. When the bill came there’s the $ 4 upcharge to add the chicken to the penne Alfredo. I had to call him back to our table to point out that the chicken wasn’t what he ordered and he didn’t even eat any of it. Thankfully it wasn’t too big of an argument and he got it removed from the bill. Still, I feel this should have been done automatically and not something we had to ask/​argue for. When the garlic rolls came out I could barely eat one, I’m not a big raw garlic fan though.
Even though we did like the food I have a bad taste in my mouth (and not just from the raw garlic). The marinara tasted like it was from a big tin and had a bitter aftertaste too. I’m not sure if we will return.

Even though they got my order wrong — I’m sticking at 4 stars.
After months of passing by this place, we finally went inside. It’s located in a pretty busy shopping center with some major chains like Old Navy, Home Depot, DSW, etc — but the pizza is real deal, so after you’re done shopping, come on in for a slice (or 2).
The place was pretty packed on a Sunday afternoon. A lot of families. Football playing on the TVs. We grabbed a booth and looked over the menu. It’s your basic Pizza /​Italian menu — nothing super out of the ordinary.
I was in the mood for some crunchy crust pizza and ordered one slice cheese — one slice hawaiian. Also an order of fried mozzerella to start.
I like they didn’t call it mozzerella sticks as they are actually in triangle shape — and they are amazing. THICK, crunchy, well seasoned breading on the outside… ooey, gooey, delicious mozz cheese on the inside. It comes with a little sauce on the side that was delicious. Not sure if it’s homemade (probably is) but I don’t usually dip my mozz — this time I did. The sauce is good!
The wife also got a cheese calzone — WHOA! Not only was this thing massive, it was also incredibly tasty. I’d get this next time — maybe to go and have it with some wine at home.
My slices were GREAT — but they added toppings to both slices (I had one reg cheese). The server noticed as soon as she dropped the plate down — and told me she would get me another slice of cheese. I told her it was fine and just scrapped the pineapple and ham off one slice. No biggie — she was super busy, I get it. The hawaiian was alright. I didn’t like the ham too much — but I ate it nonetheless. The «cheese» slice was great. They both had crispy crusts and perfect cheese to sauce ratio.
Overall it was a great experience and we will be back — I have my eyes on your calzone.

The pizza and fries are scrumptious.
I waited in the car as my mom went in and ordered so I can’t review the décor or customer service aspect of this business.

I love DelVecchio’s when they are on their game, and today is one of those days. I always order extra cheese at this location because they tend to skimp on it, but with extra cheese it’s just right.
There are so many different styles of pizza, and I do get in the mood for different styles, but this place is my favorite so far in South Florida. It’s the closest thing I have found to Lisa Pizza in Laurence Harbor, NJ. Hubby gets a little tired of me talking about Lisa Pizza, but it was so good. I digress…
DelVecchio’s is really good if you like a sweeter pizza sauce and thin crust. I tend not to get toppings on this type of pizza because I think it works better simple. It’s also good to top if with oregano or red pepper if you like a little kick like Hubby does.

My first experiences with Del Vecchios were in the Weston town center and I never had any complaints. I used to pop in for lunch and have had the paninis, salads, pizza and food and they’ve got it all down right.
I was at a friends and we decided to order pizza, they always turn to me for a recommendation and I was pleased to see they opened a location in Tower shops. Needless to say I ordered for delivery and everyone loved the pizza. My friend whose house we were at now only orders from Del Vecchios. I give them 4 stars cause they are a bit pricey.

I have finally found a local pizza/​Italian place I just adore! I have had pizza several times at DelVecchio’s and it is by far my favorite pizza in town! With thin crust, thin cheese, but bursting with flavor slices, this pizza rocks!
So far I have always eaten in. Whether getting a slice or a full meal, service is always fast and friendly. We may have been lucky the other night, but our server told us our pie would take 15 minutes and it only took about 4 minutes!
Other Italian entrees were good (remember, this is not Valentino’s or Angelo’s), but not as great as the pizza. Gnocchi in Meat sauce was passable. The Chicken Sicilian (a chicken parm with eggplant) was good). All entrees come with a salad or soup. We had salads and both the garden salad and Caesar were crisp and fresh.
Overall a ⁴¹⁄₂ but got to go with a 5 because of the yummy pizza!

A really yummy 5 star pizza right off University in Davie in the Tower Shops shopping Center off 595.
I’ve had this pizza a few times and it’s amazing every time .
The phone call for pickup went smoothly. And my pizza is usually waiting for me, so just about 15– mins.
The crust is nice and paper thin. The pieces are large, but not enormous like the other places. The sauce and cheese have great flavour. If there was a Diet pizza this would be it.
They offer the oregano, red pepper, garlic, Parmesan in ready to go containers.
I have had the calimari here, it comes with marinara sauce, decent portion, it’s okay.
Chicken Parm sub, and I’ve tried the chicken parm. The sub is better, just the sauce tastes like from a can that’s the downfall. it has juicy chicken though.
