This salon is clean and beautiful inside. I bought the groupon and they were great scheduling my appointment. When I arrived they were ready and expecting me. The people are very knowledgeable and kind. Wonderful pedicure and such precision on the polish jobs. Thankful that this groupon introduced me to my new go to nail spa!

I love Libby-​Kay! She goes by the book on nail care and will not break regulation. Sterile tools and clean. Very relaxing and by appointment only. No kids rimming around and because it’s by appointment only you get A+ service. Relaxing.

I absolutely love this place. I have been treated so well here. Often a lot of places treat you like a number and they almost rush the services or make errors and don’t fix the errors you may point out. This place has never made a mistake and has given me pointers on how to have healthy nails. I typically don’t review places but this place needs a 5 star shoutout because it’s so wonderful. If you want the best pedicure or manicure of life, come here. The lady who attended me was INCREDIBLE. So kind, precise, wise, and did the best job ever. Come here!!! Totally love this place and it’s worth every single penny :) 100%!

Wonderful pedicures from extremely knowledgable staff! Chelsey and Libby are both great, I get my pedis from Chelsey and my mom from Libby. Appointments are essential as there are only 2 technicians working at any given time, but they are not difficult to get — just call ahead if you need an exact time or be flexible if you need a same day appointment. It’s worth it, go pamper yourself at Elation!

I went to Elations the first time through Groupon. I had made the appointment for two for 6:30 but when we got there they only had one name on the list. However the lady was very understanding since we would be traveling the next day. She stayed late after closing to complete two mini’s and pedi’s. It was a very pleasant experience. I have been back several times and always receive professional service.

Very disappointed with my experience at Elation Nails. I purchased a Groupon and I think the employees give half-​rate service as such. When my friend originally called to book the appointment (required for Groupon use), she stated she had the waiver and was told that they were booked up for the next week. Frustrated and not sure if she was being mislead, I called and asked to book an appointment, not mentioning that I had a Groupon. I was allowed to make an appointment for two days later.
On the day of the appointment:
I got lost on the way to the salon and called about 8 minutes after my 4:00 appointment. I was told that if I was not at the salon by 4:15 my appointment would be cancelled and I would have to reschedule. When I came in at 4:12, I was shocked to see only ONE employee and she was doing someone else’s pedicure. Given that I did have an appointment and had confirmed it on the same day, I was shocked that this one employee wouldn’t be waiting for me. She told me she would be 20 minutes… however, I ended up waiting past 5:15… constantly hoping she would be done soon. I was also SHOCKED that the employee blamed the other customer and stated that «she decided last minute she wanted gel polish.» To fail to accept responsibility for her own mistake is what was so upsetting. If you have an appointment for 4:00 and someone walks in at 3:30, you should not see them or tell them the services are limited given an upcoming appointment.
This salon is unprofessional. Had I known how stressful my experience was going to be I would never had bought the service. I would suggest going somewhere else.

I thought they were extremely pleasant, I just got a polish change and my nails were brittle and a little yellow from constantly having polish on them, and my manicurist offered me a free treatment for the yellow tone and told me products to use to help my brittle nails. She could have just went on with my service and not offered anything or told me about the products. Also the prices are decent and the place is clean.

The worst service ever. I found out about this place on Groupon. So I went there for the first time. I traveled from Cleary and Nob Hill all the way over there. I had an appointment at 6:15. My plan was to go right after work, still in uniform. However, I had to stay five minutes late and then I rushed over there as fast as I can in rush hour and the fact I had to search for the place. I walk in at 6:30. I told the lady behind the counter my appointment time. She said «well it’s 6:30» in the most malice way. I told her my situation how I rushed and I really need to get them done for a wedding tomorrow morning. She just said «Well you should of called, we moved on.» Then a customer nicely told me, «you may have my spot, don’t worry about it.» I graciously thanked her. Then the worker said, «I still can’t give it to you, you guys had different procedures and I’m off work, it’s time for me to go.» I believe she was being so rude to me because I had a Groupon. As many know, businesses lose money because of it, but bring in new customers.
At my own job, I do EVERYTHING to make a customer happy. Even if I’m at the end of my 9 hour shift. I pull as many strings as I can and still hold my smile.
She treated me awful, I felt totally disrespected to. Never again.

Bummed ’cause I just bought a deal for them and I called them and they said they can’t see me til next week– 5 days from now. For one, I really really doubt they can’t fit in a single person til then given their horrible reviews on here and nasty attitude over the phone– give me a break lol. So now I need to decide whether I dispute this with groupon and get my money back or go in in like 2 weeks and treat them just as nasty as they just treated me… decisions decisions.
What’s wrong with humans these days, get off your high horse!

I went there only one time to do my nails and it will be the last time. Place is new and only one young girl knows how to do acrylics. She is a nice girl but I can tell she is new at doing nails. All I wanted was acrylics long nails with gel polish. My regular lady in Dania beach would take her 45 to do my nails when I have nothing on them but it took this young lady 3 hours and they were way too thick, I wasn’t happy with them. The owner said if the nail polish messes up to come back so it can be fixed free of charge and I did come back the next day because it did get messed up but because they were busy I decided to come back the following day and she gave me an appointment, I also asked her if my nails polish will be done free of charge and she said yes for just one time only. I came back and I saw her and she completely avoided me. She told the lady in the register to charge me for my visit and walked away to the back. The older lady in the register said I had no appointment and that I will have to be charged. I just walked out and went to my regular salon and I did not care if I was charged there. The only reason I came to this horrible salon was cause my regular place was too busy and it was on the way home so I gave it a shot.

Beware of salons advertising on groupon. Bad service should have been expected but I tried anyway. I made an appointment a week in advance. When I walked in I was told one of the technicians was having car trouble and I would have to wait 45 minutes. As a mom with a 16 month old at home with a sitter, I didn’t have the extra time. I think a courtesy phone call would have been appropriate and would have saved me a 45 minute round trip. Will not return.

The actual mani/​pedi was wonderful (done by Chelsea) but I am afraid I do have to tell about my experience. I had a Groupon and called and made by appointment for my mother and I since she was in town and I thought it would be nice for us to sit and relax and get mani/​pedis together. We arrived 15 mins prior and both ladies were busy. We waited and waited and an hour later, I finally spoke up and asked about my appointment. The owner replied, «She walked in right before you and she’s a paying customer and you are a Groupon so I had to take her first». Ummm what? Since when does a walk in get to go before an appointment? She then continued to tell me that she is a paying customer so she gets to go first. Again, what? I was a paying customer too as I paid Groupon for my service. She then continued to tell me that she makes absolutely no money off of Groupon and that if I left that I would not get to use my coupon again and that it would cancel out. I told her that I had places to be and that had I known that an appointment wouldn’t have been honored I would never had made one! She then said, «Leave then. I already got my money from Groupon so it does not matter – I do not care». I then was just floored and asked for the manager. Guess what? She WAS the manager! I just sat back down and decided to wait a few more mins as the other girl had told me she was almost done and could take me. She then continued answering phone calls and after she hung up with one, made a few comments to Chelsea about how Groupon customers get on her nerves and how she doesn’t make any money off of them and how they annoy her. Floored! Chelsea (the other lady working that day) gave her a look of disbelief as she left the building. I just stood there and Chelsea said she was almost done and that she would do my service and was super apologetic. She did a great job but in the end the service from the owner was absolutely horrifying. I have called Groupon and reported this establishment. My only advice is that if you have a Groupon with these people – only go on Sunday or Monday when Chelsea is there alone, or if you are considering purchasing a Groupon from these people – do yourself a favor and a huge headache and DON’T!

I needed a quick eyebrow wax around the area so I decided to try this nail salon out. When I walked in, the place looked fairly new & had no customers, seemed like a new business just opening. Two ladies greeted me and asked if I had Groupon. Puzzled why they asked, I told them no & that I was just dropping by for an eyebrow wax.
I was taken to a room and the lady told me that she wanted to stencil my eyebrows in order to keep a consistent shape. This seemed a little weird to me since this was the first time someone needed to make a stencil for a wax– but whatever, the better the eyebrow shape I guess. She stenciled my brows quickly then placed hot, burning wax on my face– OUCH, well that hurt. She apologized and I brushed it off, after all, people make mistakes. She then tested the temperature of the wax on her skin (which she should of done in the first place).
She waxed my left and right brows and decided skipping waxing the middle. Hold on now, this was another first. Since when is it okay to do a partial job for a service a customer is paying for? I asked her why she didn’t wax the middle and she responded that there wasn’t much there. So she made no effort in trying to wax any fine hairs in the middle. She then plucked my eyebrows in a rushed way, leaving lots of stray hairs.
As she showed me the mirror, I saw my eyebrows stenciled and it looked horrible– just imagine someone drawing your eyebrows with a thick black marker. It looked pretty ridiculous and can’t imagine why she didn’t offer to wipe it off. I went straight home to wash it off.
I was pretty disappointed because I expected better service from a business that specifically advertises for waxing. It’s a shame that they fell short in experience and general customer service. I would advise going for a wax elsewhere.

Bought a groupon and when I called for the appointment they said I couldn’t use it for what I bought it for! Very very rude on the phone I got refunded for my groupon! I would never want to go to this salon with the service I received just over the phone! Terrible!!!

Over the weekend, we went and got a manicure/​pedicure at this nice, new and tranquil salon, and the staff was nice and courteous. To have our nails done simultaneously, we waited for over a week to make an appointment. When we arrived on time for our appointment, we were told that we couldn’t be seen together until the other tech was free. We ended up waiting for over a half hour!!! Here are the reasons why: 1. This salon only has two nail techs. Period. That’s it! 2. They took a walk-​in that came in right before our scheduled appointment time. Yes, I get that she may have been a previous customer, but don’t you want more repeat customers?
So, i quickly got over that as our pedicures started out and ended wonderfully! I mean what pedicure have you ever gotten that wasn’t relaxing, right? And for the record, my pedicure does look amazing! But when two other customers walked in… We were rushed right on through to our manicures. I decided on a French manicure, and boy was that a poor decision!!! Yes, a majority of it is clear/​pinkish, but you can still see where you have added polish and where it still needs to be applied! Yes, it may take a little more time, but isn’t that why I paid extra? And when I tell you that I want my natural white tip of my nail to be covered up by white polish, please just paint over all of it. Don’t leave them where they look like I got my nails done over a week ago. They looked like they grew out already on the day of our appointment. And to top it off, she couldn’t even paint a straight curved white line on the tips. It looks like a kindergartener painted a majority of them on. While being so disappointed with how my nails were looking, after I had even requested that she redo a couple of them, it dawned on me that we didn’t even get our hands/​forearms massaged! All they were worried about was getting us out so that they could move on to the next appointment.
I hate that I’m even doing writing this review because new business owners already have the odds against them. This is definitely not like me to even write a review. In fact, I’ve never written a one before. But, unfortunately, as you can tell, I’m more than disappointed with our experience here. And the fact that there aren’t more techs to fix what was so poorly executed this weekend, I can’t even call and ask to have someone else correct the job.

We purchased a Groupon. We called and was told that we had to make an appointment for the Groupon. Fine, no problem. We made an appointment and on the day of the appointment I couldn’t make it because of work. I called to let them know and reschedule but they told me that they did not even have the appointment scheduled for that day. My boyfriend called to book the appointment on another day and the receptionist caught an attitude and questioned if we would really show up for the appointment. We arrived on the day that was scheduled and there was only one nail technician. She said that she didn’t have our appointment again. Talk about a waste of time. The service was horrible. How can that mistake be made twice?
We came to use the Groupon because we didn’t want to let it go to waste. I loved the service and the different scents for the exfoliating scrubs. The staff was friendly.

The clean and relaxing environment, paired with friendly, impeccable service made this one of my best spa experiences ever! I was lucky to come across Elation spa on Groupon, and I’ll definitely return in the future for my spa mani/​pedi and waxing. Thank you Libbey & Chelsey!

Great place, vibe and super clean. Very friendly. It’s hard to tell the place is there but it’s a gem.
