Celebrate Life In The Tropics With Us!
Since opening our doors in 1996, we’ve worked hard to become S. Florida’s best known garden center — featuring a huge assortment of plants, trees and edibles, a 7,000 sq. ft. gift shop with home accessories and outdoor furniture, exquisite statuary and fountains, and tons of pottery! Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is available 7 days a week to help with all needs, including garden design, delivery and installations.
Our year-round Farmers Market showcases local farmers and artisans and boasts fresh fruits and vegetables, a complete deli featuring Boars’ Head products. Our Sweet Shop is famous for smoothies, juices, handmade chocolates and fresh baked pies. Most weekends we have an authentic Southern BBQ and live music!
Our Fall Festival features an amazing Pumpkin Patch and hayrides! For Christmas, we have sleigh rides and live trees.
We have something for every budget, so come enjoy all we have to offer! www.flamingoroadnursery.com
History
Established in 1996.
We are a family farm run owned by Jim Dezell, a third generation South Floridian who purchased 8 acres of land in Davie in 1996 to build hydroponic greenhouses and grow herbs. In addition to growing herbs and lettuces for local chefs and grocery stores, Jim began to grow plants and trees for landscaping. The business grew and Jim’s dream of building a première garden center was realized upon the opening of Flamingo Road Nursery and Farmers Market in October of 2005. The new facility is located just 2 miles north of the herb farm, which is still in operation and services customers including Publix Supermarkets.
Flamingo Road Nursery has won many local «Favorite Business» and «Best Of» awards, as well as national recognition by the garden center industry. In 2012, we received the national Environmental Stewardship Award presented by the National Gardening Association.
