History

Established in 2011.

Aggie Reuse was founded by Design professor Ann Savageau who collected campus and community waste for use in her sustainable design class. Aggie Reuse supports professor Savageau’s original mission of living sustainably. Our goal is to divert materials from landfill and redistribute them at a low cost for the community. Aggie Reuse Store hopes to benefit people affected by rising tuition and living costs while encouraging environmental awareness through creative reuse.

Aggie Reuse Store aims to support and build partnerships with the ultimate the goal of contributing to campus waste reduction and eventual zero-​waste.

Manager

A current student at UC Davis, Nicole is the director of Aggie Reuse Store. Her passion for waste diversion and art has led her to transform the way others think about traditional waste through community involvement, upcycling, and redistributing these items at low cost to the students and community.
