Too expensive for what you get. A donut was 2.50. Also I got a chicken Caesar wrap and it was a complete waste of money because it had no dressing in it. Just plain chicken and lettuce.

Super busy during the school year but once the summer session rolls around, everything dies down… even the employees look like they don’t want to be there, but hey, I don’t have to wait in a line! There’s a small seating area under the stairs but I prefer to eat outside. The inside seats don’t have much counter space unless you’re lucky to get the seats in front of the window. As for the small tables behind the counter seating, either the seats have a broken bottom or someone sleeping on it. I typically come here for lunch since it’s right across from Storer Hall and the air conditioning in here is amazing. Jumba Juice was advertised out front but they were out the few times I asked. At least they always have coffee, which is decent and to-go lunches too. The lettuce in the sandwiches always look sad but at least they aren’t wilted or bad; it kind of makes me think of a backstory for how the lettuce got there : It was nice and crisp leaf hanging with its head of lettuce. They may have been taken from their home on the farm but at least they still have each other. One fateful day, a leaf was plucked! It was shoved under a waterfall and shaken violently several time! The poor lettuce leaf was scared for it’s life but clung onto the hope that it will be reunited with its head one day. It got tucked between 2 slices of bread and had a spoonful of tuna squished all over it. The poor lettuce leaf was miserable as it waited between the sandwich, wondering what’s going to happen to it… and then I ate it. Yum

Great alternative to the huge line at silo nearby, if you just want a coffee and not an actual coffee shop to hang out in. Got a pumpkin spice latte and it was perfect. Only gave it four stars because the menu doesn’t make it clear about all the awesome coffee drinks you can order

This place has such sweet staff and is conveniently located at the SciLab which is in the area where almost all my classes take place. It’s good if you need a quick pick me up, but the drinks taste watered down and are quite pricey for what you get. However, the pastries are quite yummy and you can get an extremely large tea at a decent price.

They were out of chai. strange, but the girl mentioned what I ordered: Ginger chai latte or gingerbread chai or ginger gingerbread chai is the bomb. Downside: they don’t fill it up to the top Convenient when you have classes at the Surge.

I love that this is in Sci Lab. Because I have three classes in a row from 10 – 3 in the same area and need to take a snack break! Very convenient!

I come here religiously because it is convenient. However in the past I have found the place has opened late. I believe management has corrected that with their staff over the last year. As for the self serve coffee, I’ve noticed that the staff don’t usually refill it till someone mentions it. Would be nice if they kept on top of when the coffee silos get low. Overall the place is A-OK, staff are friendly; product and selection can be limited; but this place is really suppose to be a quick-stop for coffee/snacks so understandable.

You can avoid the super long line at the Silo Starbucks by coming this place at the scilab, because this place has starbucks coffee anyways. I usually come here to get munchies and iced coffee, and to study at the same time, when I have a lab or class near because silo is usually too packed and too loud to study. Sometimes it is very hard to find a seat here during midterm and finals season(well so is anywhere else on campus) They have a microwave and bagel cutting stuff too, if you want to bring your own lunch and just get a drink or something. I probably come here at least once a week.
