History
Established in 2000.
The firm’s expertise is in the application of environmental science and engineering to evaluate and solve problems related to water quality, environmental compliance, aquatic weed management, and human health. We have extensive experience working with State and Regional Water Board staff on permitting and compliance issues.
Our staff has training and expertise in water quality, environmental toxicology, chemistry, and biology, and environmental planning. We are licensed professional engineers, Pest Control Advisors (PCAs) and Qualified Applicators.
Frequent speaking engagements and active membership in the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA), California Farm Bureau Federation (CFBF), California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA), and California Invasive Plant Council (Cal-IPC) keep us abreast of recent trends.
Mike Blankinship currently chairs the ACWA Ad Hoc Committee responsible for negotiating the 2013 aquatic pesticide permit

Mike has an MS in Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry from UC Davis in the Departments of Environmental Toxicology and Environmental Engineering and a BA in Chemistry from Saint Michael’s College, in Colchester Park, Vermont. He is a California registered professional engineer (Civil), an Oregon registered professional engineer (Environmental), and is a California Department of Pesticide Regulation licensed Pest Control Advisor.
