My business specialty is to provide solo music for special events, such as wedding, baby dedication, funeral, etc.

History

Established in 2013.

I have been playing for special events since 2000 in Southern California. I moved to Davis in 2012, where I decided to create my own music business. Since May of 2013 I have been performing at many weddings all over Yolo County and beyond (i.e. Tahoe, San Francisco, etc)

Business Owner

Daniel was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and moved to the United States in his teens. While he was in Brazil, he studied with Zygmunt Kubala, a renowned cello professor originally from Poland. Since his early teens, Daniel has been active in music ensembles and orchestras. After moving to the U.S., he studied cello at the Colburn School of Performing Arts in Los Angeles. Later he attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where he studied cello with Geoffrey Rutkowski and actively participated in the university orchestra as well as chamber music ensembles.

Picking music for a wedding can be difficult, especially if you’re planning a wedding from thousands of miles away. After hearing several of Daniel’s music samples, we thought we were on the right track. We contacted Daniel and he was more than happy to set up a Skype session so we could get to know him and hear more music. Daniel blew us away during the session. We provided him with the pieces we wanted, and he made it happen for the wedding day. He played during the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. Daniel is a talented cellist and he has a charming and affable personality – a winning combo for a wedding vendor.

Daniel provided an outstanding service at my wedding! Prior to the event he met with us and offered many selections from his music repertoire, classical and non-​classical. The guests were pleased with the music while they waited for us. Daniel proved to be an excellent cellist. He surpassed our expectations!
