went in to get printing on some shirts that i had bought previously. i went in and told them what i wanted and placed my order. it was two shirts and i wanted 1 word and 1 number on each. at the end my total came out to $ 75 dollars. it came out looking as expected but definitely not worth even half of the price they charged. i would’ve been way better off ordering online or even doing it myself.

Wow! Where do I start?
The whole process of ordering was so easy. I submitted my design to InkMonkey unsure they’d be able to replicate such an intricate design. Sure enough, they knocked it out of the park! The Tees look GREAT!
The front desk person was absolutely wonderful. I believe her name started with an E. She was very receptive to my requests and updates on the project.
When I picked up the T-​shirts, she quickly retrieved my order and helped me move them to me car. I will definitely be sending more jobs to this company.

— almost didn’t have my order on time (sounded like the forgot about it since the jacket was still a little damp when I picked it up)
— messed up a Greek letter
— sometimes they are so busy and understaffed, they don’t attend to you in the office and I had to hand them a check and just walk out of the office without even getting acknowledged

Ink Monkey does a lot of printing for our organization. I feel that they work hard to give us a great price and always have the job done well ahead of their estimated schedule. In addition they are a great addition to the community because they have donated parties to our non profits yearly auction! Great business and friendly staff.

I came here on the week of Valentines to get some numbers printed on a Tank that I was making for my housemate. At first I wasn’t sure if they would do printing for just one shirt and how much it would cost. I sent an email over the weekend and got a prompt response on the following Monday, which was great.
Although my order was really small and only cost around 2.50 $ they were extremely quick to get it done for me a few days in advance of their estimate. They’re very helpful, nice, and have great service. I would recommend this if you have a bulk order all the one to just one shirt! (The place is pretty easy to find, it’s in its own area)
My housemate loved the shirt as well, the numbers were great and stuck on extremely well!

Loved using this place! Went in with an order for 16 shirts for houseboats after much price comparing. Was a little worried that they wouldn’t be able to capture our strange t-​shirt design (a seahorse with laser beams shooting out of it’s eyes) but the final template they made came out so well! All the staff that we worked with was super helpful in answering our questions about quality of shirts, price differences in screen prints and so on. They gave us a 2 week estimate for when they ready, but they were done 2 days before expected! If I ever decide to do something similar, definitely going to use this place.

Excellent service! My fraternity brought in a design to get printed on a zip-​up hoodie and everything turned out exactly as we hoped for. They have sample hoodies for you to try on in the store so you know exactly what size (s) to get. Their quoted finish time is also spot on. Prices are fair for what you get. This is definitely the place to visit if you need customized clothing, banners, or anything in between!

I have worked with the staff here to design several school shirts, spirit wear. They have always been on time and fairly priced. Most recently worked with Zac and he has been great.

I don’t know what all of these negative reviews are about, because the service I got was superb. Maybe there was a past staff member that wasn’t too helpful but then got fired because everyone I dealt with was incredibly friendly and helpful.
I came in on Friday, June 1^st trying to get a quote for shirts that I wanted to be done for my team before everyone was done with finals on the 13^th (yes, I know, I procrastinated a bit, FYI a regular production time for them would be 2 weeks). I met with the owner and he gave me a quote for the shirts I wanted, and said to email him with sizes and design ideas. Well, I was a complete pain and sent him email after email asking questions, all of which he patiently and quickly replied to. He said that if I could get him the finalized sizes by Monday they would be able to get the shirts done by the 13^th. I sent him multiple «final» sizes emails that Sunday night, even adding a shirt on Monday after he sent me the quote/​workorder. To complicate things even further, I was getting an order with both tanks and tees, and one youth sized shirt as well. They counted the tanks and tees all within the same bulk order so I got one large bulk discount, with only one setup fee for them all together — a feat that is unheard of with online-​made custom shirts. I had also originally told them I was probably ordering around 35 shirts total, but then ended up ordering 70! I got an email on Thursday with the design made by their graphic designer, and I loved it. I had a couple changes in the wording that I sent him, of which he did immediately and sent me back a perfect final copy. Then, to top it all off, they got my shirts done a day early for me!
Not only is everyone at Ink Monkey incredibly helpful, but they also have a great assortment of colors, styles, and brands of tanks and tees, and don’t charge you an arm and a leg. For the same thing I would have gotten on
for over $ 20, I got for less than $ 15 at Ink Monkey and was able to support a local business. I can’t wait to order more shirts for my team from them in the coming years!

Respectable business!
I interned for a non-​profit, student organization and asked local businesses in Davis for a discounted banner for our group and Ink Monkey was able to accommodate and make one for us for free! What a great way to support the community, as well as a non-​profit student run organization! Banner was great quality too.
I’ve also gotten t-​shirts made by them for student groups and they were of high quality as well. =]

We print large jobs here for our special events and they have always done a great job. They are really good about labeling the boxes which i really appreciate. Our old printers didnt, and when you have 75 boxes of shirts, all different sizes/​type, it becomes really important. Highly recommend!

Many of the organizations that I am involved in order apparel from ink monkey, and they (usually) come through exactly as you want.
PROS
— if you mention that you’ve seen them on Unilocal,they give you a 5% discount!
— they have a huge of brands, colors, and styles of clothing that you can use your design on.
— ink monkey’s prices are fair, and they get them to you fairly quickly
— conveniently based in davis, where many school organizations, clubs, and local businesses can easily access their services.
CONS
— make SURE you go in the actual store to complete your order (s). recently, i had a flub on my order because of a miscommunication on the size of my graphic (and a necessary deadline in ONE day for a performance). look at every detail of the measurements, colors, fonts, sizes, EVERYTHING because they’ll make you feel like it was your fault that they messed up.
— customer service was great, until that mishap (see above).
overall, i guess i would recommend this business to do your customized t-​shirts and sweaters. but make sure your order is right!

As the other reviewer stated, the person that I talked to on the phone was very rude and unhelpful. I did decide to go in anyway and see what they were all about since the phone call got me nowhere. I’m gald I went in. They were able to do what I needed, the price was reasonable and they even got my order done ahead of schedule. It would be 5 stars if not for the RUDE receptionist, I can’t stand apathetic, condescending customer service people.

We’ve been using Ink Monkey for a few years now and cannot be happier with their work. We have had them do business logos on uniforms, special design tees for our tournaments, workout shirts and staff shirts, too. They have done hundreds of items for us and the end result is always consistent. The people are great to work with and their product is high quality, durable and, yes, very wearable.

I called just to get a quote, and the girl was very unhelpful and extremely rude. I don’t understand why they hire people if they don’t want to help. Everytime I tried explaining to her what I wanted she would interupt me before I had a chance to explain– and she didn’t even answer the questions I asked correctly– she had no clue what she was talking about.

I just got a batch of 25 custom shirts from these folks for a community effort. The pricing, service, quality of work, timeliness, and attitude were all excellent.
