Great experience at Matthews Mattresses. Tony was knowledgeable, helpful, and patient with our questions and hemming and hawing. Not pushy at all. There was a mix-​up with the warehouse about what they had in stock but Tony handled the situation superbly. Long story short we are very happy customers sleeping on a beautiful, comfortable bed at a fair price.

Prices are very reasonable and the service was great! Got my bed exactly as planned and was ready to set up and sleep easily that same day. The manager even gave me a memory foam pillow for FREE with my bed. Absolutely love my bed and have been sleeping very well :)

Came in today with little knowledge about mattresses, was just looking for a nice affordable mattress for student living. The manager Tony quickly walked up to help us and was very helpful in finding a «student deal» pillow top mattress that was too good to pass up. Transaction to buy the mattress was smooth and quick, and was able to get it delivered same day! Saved me a trip to Ikea too for a pallet with the student deal, thanks for everything Tony!

My honey’s family and I came here to to buy a mattress with the cousin who’s going to be a sophomore this year. This is the second mattress center that we visited. The first place did not give us very good service; so we came here. When we arrived, the manager told us that he will help us after serving the previous customer, who came here for the same reason. He introduced us to the 2 promotional mattresses first. The cousin tried it and decided to buy one here. They even have free shipping and gave us some great perks. Good customer service and great deals is the best.

I had such a good experience buying my mattress here. They were very attentive and patient as I was trying out all of the mattresses. I definitely recommend this place if you’re on a budget. I think almost every bed I saw on the floor had some kind of deal or discount going on. My mattress and headboard were delivered for free, and they assembled everything in less than 15 minutes!
And bring your student ID if you’re a student and they remove the sales tax!

The showroom is super nice. There were three or four people already in and testing out mattresses, but when I walked in, Danny immediately noticed and asked me what I was looking for. I was trying to find a full sized mattress on a student’s budget and he quickly showed me three or four, telling me the prices and the deals he could give me.
He wasn’t pushy at all as I tested out each mattress and answered all my questions. My mattress came super promptly the next day (time frame was 11 — 2, and he came around 12:30ish) and the guy who came carried the mattress up the in for me, unwrapped it there, and put it on the bed frame for me. I’m pretty happy with my choice and would shop here again. :)

We never found the mattress we liked cheaper than here, not even at Macy’s or Sears. Besides, we got free shipping and installing, and a complementary waterproof mattress cover.

First of all, I gave 4 stars because not every salesmen are attentive, helpful and no-​pressure.
First two times there I wasn’t satisfied and turned to other mattress stores.
However, I have to give Jim a 5 star rating. I told him what I want, he immediately narrowed the options down and left me with 2 choices so I can choose easier. He also provide me options with stores at woodland and called for me for availability.
I like his no-​pressure and buys’ perspective selling technique.
I recommend you go in and look for Jim and make the sales to him. If he is not there you can consider going back the other day because Jim will make you satisfy with your purchase, but other salesmen, it’s a hit or miss.

I came here a few days ago and was very pleased with the help I got from David. I let him know what I was looking for and told him price was an issue for me. He pointed me to a very comfy mattress that had everything I was looking for and didn’t get impatient with all my questions. He understood my financial situation as a student and worked with me on the price.
Advice to other students looking for a mattress, don’t just look at the big box stores for the cheapest mattress possible. Smaller, local showrooms often give you more personalized attention and can help you find a mattress that works within your budget. I’m really happy with my purchase and I know that if I ever have problems with the mattress in the future I’ll be able to go back into the store and get a solution to my problem, from a person that cares about making me happy.
