Every time I go there, I always get the popcorn chicken. Because they are the best. Sometime, Takoyaki.

They are underrated, the price is reasonable and you get what you paid for, the boba is okay, They definitely get bonus points for opening late. Perfect place to chill at night and quench your thirst with some homies lol They have a huge menu! it’s a wallpaper lol, only tried fries so far, but having so much food gets me excited, they even have Hai Nan Ji fan, a Chinese island style chicken and rice.

I really love the drinks but you guys keep raising the prices and it’s really annoying.

I give this place 3.5 stars but I’ll round it up to 4. Quickly’s is definitely not the best milk tea spot in Davis but you can’t beat their prices! They have a HUGE drink menu and their daily specials are less than $ 2 a drink. For me, I’d rather come here for the snacks instead of the drinks because you really can’t go wrong with Quickly’s deep fried food. My favorite is their popcorn chicken and fried fish balls. They have a little condiment counter so you can season your food to your liking.(The chili powder tastes good on anything!) The location is convenient for students who live in North Davis. The plaza is never that busy and there’s plenty of parking. Usually there’s only one person behind the counter so if it’s busy your food might take a little while to come out. But other than that, it’s not bad!

I’ve heard my fair share of negative reviews about this place, but I’m not sure why. It might just be that I’m no boba expert, but I have no criticisms of this place. The service is fast and the drinks are pretty good. I’ve never tried the food, but if I want a boba drink without having to wait, I come here.

I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt after reading many of the bad reviews. I’m not picky with food so I thought, you can’t really go wrong with milk tea. My husband warned me, but he’s picky with everything. I walked in close to sunset but there was still some light out outside. It was very dark inside and I think they rely on the sun for lighting. The darkness of the establishment made it feel cold and unwelcoming. The place was empty and I was not greeted. The cashier was busy on his phone. I ordered my usually honeydew milk tea and popcorn chicken. However, I tried to order, garlic pepper chicken wings that was pictured on the wall and the cashier did not understand me. I pointed at the wall where the picture was but he said he couldn’t see that far… Uhh okaaay. My drink came and like other reviews, the boba was undercooked. Boo. I was skeptical about the chicken after reading the reviews so I ended up trying a piece and tossed the rest. They weren’t crunchy. Now I know! Never coming back.

Had the tiger milk with pearls. It was just okay. I’ve had better in San Jose, but I can’t expect much in Davis. The pearls were still kind of hard so they were probably a bit undercooked still. I’ve had the peach green tea with lychee here before and it was pretty good. I think I’ll be switching back to that or Jasmine Milk tea.

Ordered a Thai milk tea with regular Boba balls. Drink tastes water downed and Boba balls were really hard. And they didn’t carry egg puffs! What they’re known for! Really disappointed. Most likely will not be a returning customer.

You arrive at the store. It’s pretty empty. 1. The waitress messes up your entire order. 2. The wait time is pretty long. The food smells heavenly, until the moment you put it in your mouth. 1. Usage of heavy sauces to cover up the fact the meat went bad. 2. Sauces fail to actually cover up the flavor. 3. It is understandable to use meat gone bad for economic reasons, but human health takes priority. 4. After consumption, extremely likely to throw up along with other unfortunate consequences. 5. Oil reused several times, flavors from other dishes mixed in. And other unpleasant things.

As a UCDavis student, going here is a must to get your boba needs. I would have to say I prefer this place over Old Tea House in terms of taste, selection, and affordability. Food favorites: I like the BBQ pork over rice. It’s ok for Davis, but it is not up to the normal standards of cha siu. I still always end up getting this every time I go. It’s ~$ 6 for a decent amount of pork over rice and either baby bok choy or cabbage. Favorite drink: Almond milk tea whether warm or cold is my new favorite(used to be plain milk black tea). Everyone always asks what it is because it always smells so wonderful. Try a cup while you’re there.

I would give this place no stars if I could-REALLY. I ordered fried tofu. It was SOUR. SOURTOFU=NOTFRESH I tossed it. No way I’m getting a tummy ache from this place. And…if anyone says that is how it’s suppose to be… more power to you. I hope you don’t get the runs or worse.

There are a few places in Davis where you can get Tapioca or people would like to call it, boba drinks. Quickly’s is located in the plaza with Save Mart, Chick peas(Greek food), Ding How(Chinese food), a mexican restaurant, etc. Inside, there are plenty of seating with a wide spread menu of posted on the wall. Today, I got something new, a Tiger Milk with tapioca balls and egg pudding(mixture of Thai Tea and Milk). It was pretty good, a creamier version of Thai Tea. The tapioca balls/pearls on the other hand was SUPER soft. It was awful. I didn’t have high expectation on Quickly’s drinks anyways. And for nearly $ 5 for a large it pretty pricy if you ask me!

There is no way to describe Quickly’s other than average. It gives you what you need. No more, no less. If you have a hankering for some powder milk tea really close to North Davis, this is the place. The one thing I would say this Quicky does better than other places is the food. I find that this specific branch has way more variety and does a much better job on their lunch combos. I recommend their popcorn chicken rice bowl with a milk tea.

Pros: –Very fast service –Cheap like most other boba places –Tons of options –So far I’ve loved the milk tea and Thai tea –Daily specials –Tons of seating, great for groups –Lots of car and bike parking Cons: –Honeydew milk tea was gross, didn’t taste like the fruit; tasted like liquified candy –The drinks are served slightly colder than room temp, easy ice -$ 0.35 charge if you use credit card and spend less than $ 10

I switch between ordering jasmine milk tea and earl grey milk tea, basic teas that I find somewhat difficult to mess up. Unfortunately, this particular Quickly is below average in quality compared to the one in Sacramento and even in the kiosk in Fairfield. The taste of their tea seems somewhat watered down and the tapioca balls are also a toss-up. Sometimes it’s acceptable but most of the times hard and stuck together. I’ve been to several Quickly stores in Nor Cal and I want to rate this Davis Quickly to be one of my bottom Quickly stores along side with the one in Concord and Oakland. I’d rather go to Old Teahouse or the new Quickly that opened up in Vacaville.

I wish I could say this place was okay. I wish I could say their drinks were okay and I wish I could say it tasted okay — but its not okay. This place has just carved out a whole new category of low quality. Surprisingly, this is the only milk tea joint in North Davis. Needless to say, if you live around here, there’s not much of a choice if you don’t want to go very far. Drinks here are consistently inconsistent. The liquid drinks like regular milk tea fair better than their blended slush drinks but are still relatively flavorless. Unlike other places, the flavor syrups in blended drinks quickly drain to the bottom of the cup leaving you with a flavorless block of ice. So its more of a shaved ice bowl… in a cup… with a straw. I ordered mango slush and it somehow tasted more like tart tangerines than mango. Either way, the flavor is notably weak compared to other milk tea places. They also lack ‘fresh’ varieties like Mandro that just opened in West Davis and offers fresh taro milk tea. While this isn’t a big deal for me since I love artificially flavored drinks, especially from Tapioca Express, this place just fails to satisfy. Prices are pretty average for boba at around $ 3 – 4 per cup. The tapioca balls are cooked unevenly, consequently you get clumped boba clusters and inconsistent textures when you bite them. As other reviews have stated, the Quickly franchise has been around for much longer than other establishments. Unfortunately, their quality has either diminished or competitors have stepped up their game. If you have the means to go boba places in Davis, do it. Sure its not totally unpalatable, but Quicklys is not the place to take your bobaholic friends when they visit Davis unless you want to leave a bad taste in their mouth(literally).

Sad that Quickly was one of the first place to serve tapioca before it became super popular has degraded so much. Service is very slow, so if possible call in advance(I think you can, anyway). There just isn’t enough manpower or space to be serving food at this location, so maybe if they stuck to drinks it’d be more successful. Like most other locations, there is a huge menu but many items are crossed out. Good for a late night craving or a cheap thrill. Otherwise, pass.

Thanks to a co-worker I discovered this place. Sweet — Bubble Tea. I got the Passion Fruit Milk Tea with Mango jelly. Very refreshing! Selection is enormous.

I live in North Davis so this is the most convenient spot for me to get boba especially since its open late. But it’s still a quickly’s and from experience I know not to expect much from it. The drinks themselves are ok. Definitely not what you’d consider good boba but it’ll get the job done when you have a craving. The biggest negative is the food. The food is borderline inedible. I still always end up coming here for food cause I’m lazy and I don’t want to cook but it’s just not good. I don’t really know how to describe it but it’s like they take one aspect of the dish and just really mess it up somehow. The snacks are a bit better though. The biggest negative about it all though is the price. For a meal + a large drink with boba I’m usually spending about 11 dollars and for the actual quality of the items, its just not worth it. The service isn’t bad and at least everything comes out pretty fast(I almost said quickly and I got mad at myself for almost making a pun…) So I’ll be back just because its just too convenient.

This Quickly is one of the better ones out of the ones I’ve tried in Sacramento and San Francisco. Since it is the only boba place in North Davis, my roommate and I go quite frequently despite its average quality. A cup of milk tea at midnight for around $ 3? I’ll take it! Their yam/sweet potato fries are really tasty, as well as their chicken nuggets. My go-to drink recently has been their earl grey milk tea with an addition of tapioca. If you only order a drink, your drink will be out in about 2 minutes; if it isn’t crowded. The only real complaint I have is about their consistency in making drinks. Most days, the milk tea is super diluted. Just as I’m about to give up on Quickly, they whip up a really good cup. I wish they were more consistent with their drinks!
