History

Established in 2002.

In 2002, after observing a need for educational supplies in my local community and beyond, I decided to open Teach Your Children. At Teach Your Children, I’ve gathered together items I feel add to the educational atmosphere of the classroom or home. I’ve combined up-​to-​date standards-​based resource books with hands-​on brain bending toys and games in all subjects. I try my hardest to get things the kids will find exciting, new, and wild so they’ll be coming back begging for more learning fun. I believe if there’s one thing we are still allowed to invest in, it is our children. After all, as the 1981 Select Panel for the Promotion of Child Health rightly noted, «Children are one third of our population and all of our future.»

Im happily married to Tracy for sixteen years. I enjoy two kids Loren, almost driving and Anna, 10. Our one dog, Emily, is a 8 year old Dalmation who likes to sleep with her head on a pillow. our newest dog, Misty, a one year old Corgi Ive owned Teach Your Children for 10 years and have been in Downtown Davis almost three. I love to see kids, and adults, tickle their brains with my toys, games, and workbooks. Outside of work I enjoy golf, chess, poker, reading, and sharing laughs (and tears) with my family.
