RENTER BEWARE!!! There are multiple issues living here. My advice: look everywhere else in Davis before living here!
1. Terrible customer service. No one answers your phone calls. I’ve called over 200 times to the leasing office and have only had them answer my phone call once. Additionally, about 50% of the time, someone will answer my email. Finally, when all of the above fail, I go to the leasing office in person. However, no one is there during business hours 75% of the time! As a result, I call the on-​call MX guy for resolution and am met with a bad attitude. How frustrating is it that no one will help you!!!
2. Your parking space is not respected. I often come home to have a contractor or another tenant parked in my space. When I ask them to move I am met with resistance. Additionally, people park in illegal spots all the time. Heaven forbid there was a fire here!
3. Trash buildup. There is often an overflow of trash in all the dumpsters. There have been homeless people and animals rummaging through. Unacceptable! What’s worse is the staff here acknowledged the buildup yet had to be strongly urged by tenants to clean it up!
4. The apartments are built to minimal standards. The kitchen cabinet space would be small for a single college kid living alone. You can definitely tell that they were looking to save $$ by building as cheap as possible. The flooring is laminate on concrete.
5. This place is advertised as luxurious, exclusive, and modern. It is none of these things! For what you pay, you could be living in downtown SFO for the same price. This place is way overpriced.
Please do not make the mistake we did and sign a lease to live here! We regret it!!! :(

The staff are completely useless. We’ve put multiple service requests and haven’t had anything fixed yet. They either cancel (without telling you which cool when you leave work early and wait around forever) or look at the problem and offer no resolution.
My biggest pet peeves though– horrendous trash mountains and absolutely no parking. The trash spews everywhere and the place looks like a third world nation after a hurricane. There’s no where enough dumpsters or recycle containers for the amount of people living here. There’s also no parking enforcement which means sometimes someone will block your garage or double park in fire lanes making it nearly impossible to get out of your legitimate spot. A one car garage for three or four people is just not working.
Do yourself a favor and pay half the rent to live anywhere else in Davis

Renter beware. This complex recently changed ownership (2015). We have lived here for four years but will be leaving when our lease expires. The new company immediately fired an awesome maintenance guy and a personable property manager and replaced them with some useless hacks. They proceeded to remodel but have chosen cheap installation labor and low quality appliances. We have filed numerous maintenance requests for the same issues with no resolution. Get everything thing in writing– their word is worthless. One star is way to generous but Unilocal won’t let me give less.

I lived here only one year, and will leaving now. when I come to Davis and want to find a good place, i found Seville. I still remember i asked a resident, a young lady in swimming pool how about the apartment. she said it is a very nice place and the office, the manager is a nice woman too. it make me to decide rent the apartment although it is more expensive than many other apartment in Davis. but several months before the nice lady left and the new guy is terrible. i could accept dirty swimming pool, noise, even rats, but the manager’s rude make me so angry. he never have patient to listen to your needs, and just care about the money! sometimes I feel discriminated because English is not my first language. now if anyone ask my suggestion, i will say please not be cheated by the outside view, living in it is not a good experience.

Lived here from 2006 – 2008, and honestly didn’t have very many problems or issues. When we did, the office staff was usually on it pretty quickly and were responsive.
The biggest issue I had was with my upstairs neighbor hosing off her porch, causing dirt and debris to wash down onto my porch. Other than that, the community was pretty quiet (a loud handful of college students that had been living there were evicted for noise violations shortly after moving in, so the office staff followed through after receiving numerous complaints.
Never had a mice issue, even living on the first floor. The apartment was spacious and clean, and almost the size of a house, with a large two-​car garage.
Haven’t been back in years, but it looks like they’ve done a good job maintaining the place for sure!

I lived here from 2004 – 2006. The first year there went great. The apartments were fairly new. It’s extremely spacious and I would even say luxurious for college students. The area was usually nice and quiet. Plus, it was near the freeway. Not too shabby. For all these reasons, we re-​signed the lease for the next year.
BIGGEST. MISTAKE. EVER. We had to co-​habit with mice for SEVERAL MONTHS in early 2005. The apartment management grossly mismanaged the situation and tried to blame their residents when the infestation got so out of hand that there was no point in trying to clean the mice poop.
I lost HUNDREDS of dollars to this place and I will never ever want to step foot onto this residence again. I’ve never liked rodents before, but this place left me with a serious phobia of rodents!
To be fair, I am sure there have been improvements to this place because several months before my lease was finally up, there was a change in management and the new manager was much more understanding and friendly.
