History

Established in 2010.

As You Wish Handyman Services, LLC is the business I started in 2010 after retiring from 30-​years of being in the automotive repair industry. I have been performing the gamut of plumbing, electrical, and remodeling jobs since I was 13-​years old and have helped family, friends and neighbors with their projects most of my life. I began this business to supplement my income with the belief that folks want to hire someone they can trust who will do quality work at fair prices. I have lived in the Dayton, Ohio area all of my life, worked hard, and have earned a reputation for honesty and integrity among my past clients.

I grew up on a small farm in Waynesville, Ohio and learned to service farm equipment, raise tobacco, bale hay, and repair outdoor structures. I earned my Chauffeur’s license (CDL) at 18 and became an outdoor adventure guide & bus driver. I attended 2-​years of college at the University of Dayton, began working in the home entertainment electronics business and worked my way up to management. I worked my way up into management of a fine furniture outfit, but quit to help my father with his automotive repair business. I ended up buying the business soon afterward and ran it for successfully for 30-​years. I closed the shop in 2008, put it up for sale, and began my handyman career journey.
