Ben & Jerry’s has come a long way since the first Scoop Shop opened in a dilapidated gas station in Burlington, Vermont. The Dayton Scoop Shop has been serving up locals Vermont’s Finest since it first opened its doors16 years ago. I frequent the Pine Club next door, so depending on what time I leave there, I will make the walk over to the Ben and Jerry’s store to enjoy a scoop or two.
This location is in a very good spot close to the University of Dayton, and other restaurants. It’s very clean, with many places to sit both inside and outside. Service has always been good.
I’ve always been a Ben and Jerry’s fan and enjoy trying all types of flavors. Milk and Cookies is my favorite to get. Seems like they don’t sell this flavor in the stores like they use to, so happy they have it here!

Great location, easy to walk to from the Oakwood/​UD area. A variety of ice cream flavors as well as smoothie options. Something for everyone and a good after dinner treat for adults and kids alike. Staff is always friendly and seem to truly enjoy working there which makes for a great overall experience.

I finally got to come down and try this Ben & Jerry’s out! First off, I love Ben & Jerry’s so the ice cream was amazing as usual. The location is neat. I definitely didn’t realize there was more food places this far down Brown Street. The store is a cute and had an old fashion feel too it. The staff was really friendly and when we couldn’t decided what we wanted offered us a sample. Price was is about the same as Diary Queen, but a lot cheaper then Coldstone. Great, great, great outdoor seating. We will definitely be back!

I love this place. All the ingredients are fresh and the ice cream is delicious. The prices are reasonable, and it is just fun to sit and enjoy some good ice cream. They have flavors only found in the ice cream shops too, and somehow it tastes better than buying a pint.

This place is tops. The ice cream is quality ingredients chuck full of goodies.
They service is fast and friendly.
It is reasonably priced by today’s standards.

I like Ben and Jerry’s I can’t lie. I enjoy it more than Dairy Queen, but I don’t go often because I can’t bring myself to order «Cherry Garcia». All that aside, they have good ice cream and this is a really clean francise.

This Ben and Jerry’s store renewed my faith in this chain. The staff was really nice. They also were a hard working bunch. After serving us our very tasty ice cream the staff cleaned and swept the place. It made me feel good about sitting and enjoying myself for a while.
This store also has nice outdoor seating. Overall, this ice cream joint has Ben and Jerry’s unique and tasty favors and a great attitude! I will go back.
