Dropped off some audio equipment and was told it’d be roughly three weeks to repair. After four weeks and not receiving any updates, I called and asked for an update. I was told they were still working on them, and would need another week. I waited another week and called back irritated that it’d been now five weeks. I received an attitude, to which I told him to take out the components, return it to the condition to which I dropped it off and that I’d be in the following day to pick up my equipment. I was again met with tension and said I was not allowed to pick up my equipment and that they would not be ready to be picked up. I drove to the shop only to find it was closed, even though I went during business hours. Fast forward another six weeks and I finally received a call saying they were done. All said and done, I was without my equipment for a total of three months, nine weeks longer than the initial estimate. Finally happy to have my equipment back, I picked them up and heard they were working temporarily at the shop. I got home, hooked them up and the problem persists, only this time the static«hiss» noise is far louder and more noticeable. I am extremely displeased with how I was treated and that even after three months, my equipment is still not fixed. He does warranty his work for 90 days after pickup, however I will not be returning. I am completely disgusted with my experience. I understand some products may be more difficult and require more attention, but please provide status updates if repairs are going to take longer than expected. The fact that I was never given any updates and received a negative attitude when I would inquire about my equipment warrants a low rating and a warning to others.
