I went here looking for a few natural-​looking highlights, and the student put in so many highlights it was practically a dye job. The student lightened my hair to the point where it was platinum blond in some areas – I’ve got dark brown hair – when all I wanted were brown/​dark auburn highlights. As the student unwrapped foil in lower parts of my hair, she said, «Oh my God, look how light it’s getting – it’s almost white,» and giggled. The toning job she did afterwards did nothing to tone the brassiness on top. I had to have it professionally corrected. The instructor approved of the student’s work.
I went to this place trying to save a few bucks, but ended up spending more than I would have if I had gone to a professional. Plus it did much more damage to my hair than if I had seen someone who was a licensed stylists. Silly me.
