The Dayton Metro Library brings people of all ages and backgrounds together to discover new things about the world, themselves, and each other. Within our Branches and beyond our walls, we are advocates for exploration, champions of literacy, and active facilitators of empowerment, inclusion, and positive change.
History
Established in 1888.
Since the founding of the Library in 1888, we’ve consistently met the changing needs of our diverse and growing community. Our materials, programs, and initiatives cover countless topics for all ages.
Meet the Manager
Jonathan C.
Manager
Mr. Cline first joined the Dayton Metro Library in 1990 with a position in the acquisition department. From 1992 – 2006, he worked in Adult Services at Main Library before becoming the Branch Manager at Electra C. Doren in 2006. Jonathan enjoys gardening and has a special talent with roses. His favorite book is The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.
