Loretta P.
Business Owner
Texture is the driving force behind Loretta’s current style of work. Contemporary in nature, her abstract paintings use mixed media materials to establish a three-dimensional surface on which to create a finished product. Also relevant to Loretta’s current portfolio is her interest in documenting homes in Dayton’s Historic neighborhoods through ink and watercolor painting.
For many years, Loretta’s work consisted solely of realistic still life and landscape painted in oil. As Loretta began a new venture as a gallery owner in 2008, she also began to experiment with abstract painting. This took her work in a new direction, one she has continued to develop and master with much positive feedback from patrons and art collectors alike.
