My mother and I went in to look at engagement rings. I was thoroughly annoyed by the service we received. The gentleman who helped us was constantly singing along to the music –loudly– in our faces. When I found a ring I loved, he continually told me what a «cheap date» I was and how after five years, I should demand a more expensive ring. Even though I loved the one I found, he kept trying to convince me into looking at different rings. He didn’t seem interested I what I wanted, just in a commission. I will not be returning to this Jared.

Cannot say enough about the customer service here. My engagement ring and wedding band are from Jared and we have purchased a few other items from the store as well. I had my husband’s wedding gift custom engraved at the store and the staff was extremely helpful at the time in helping me pick out the item and also ensuring that everything was done in a timely fashion. When I have gone into the store to have work done on my rings without having my paperwork in hand they have NEVER made it and issue and always taken care of me and made it a pleasure. THIS is customer service at its best!

I always hear that you should avoid these national chain jewelers and typically when it comes to chains, I would agree without hesitation. My wife loved some of the jewelry they offered here and when we decided to buy our engagement /wedding rings, we opted for Jared even though they were a little more expensive. First and foremost, their service is second to none in my opinion. Every time we go in to have our jewelry inspected, cleaned, or just to browse around they make us feel very welcomed, most of the time they even remember our names even after months(a rarity in retail these days!), they get an A+ in customer service. Yesterday my wife broke the main setting off of her engagement ring, luckily we found it and took the ring to Jared(who have on site servicing by the way!) and fully expected it to take quite some time to get it repaired. After they cleaned the setting, diamonds, etc and logged the serial number etched in the diamond, they said it would be ready in about 2 hours, and of course no charge, wow! Did we pay for this additional service in the purchase price of the ring, probably, but it’s nice to know that any problems we have are taken care of without question. So, will I pay a little more for superior customer service? Absolutely! As a side note, I’ve experienced this level of customer service at the other Jared(by the Dayton Mall) as well, this tells me it’s more than just an isolated instance, it’s something the company really cares about, they get it!
