History

Established in 2013.

Jason P. Matthews represents employees in a wide range of labor and employment matters. Mr. Matthews has been working to protect the rights of employees since 1999. From 1999 – 2004, Mr. Matthews served as a Civil Rights Representative for the Ohio Civil Rights Commission where he investigated charges of race, sex, age, disability, and national origin discrimination in employment. From 2004 – 2013, Mr. Matthews worked as an attorney with the law office of Jeffrey M. Silverstein and Associates where he counseled employees and litigated cases involving a variety of labor and employment law issues. Today he continues to assist employees by providing practical cost effective counseling and litigation services.

Jason is a 1996 graduate of Marietta College and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1999. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
