#5 July 3, 2007 Ok, so I wasn’t paying attention to my sister’s driving, and when I started driving, the gas light went on! That’s really scary when you’re in a state you don’t know, at midnight, in horrible roadwork/construction. Luckily, there was an exit one mile down the road. Even luckier for us, this turned out to be really really awesome because the gas here was really really cheap($ 2.579 for regular! Can you believe it?!) It was well lit, the pumps worked, and the credit card worked at the pump. That’s really all I ask for in a gas station(at midnight) so when the gas is super cheap, I decide to love said gas station. By the way, our hotel was at the next exit, about 3 miles down the road. There, the gas was 10cents more per gallon. Thank you, gas light, for going on when you did.
