McDonald’s

This is my second review for this McDonald’s. I work right down the street from this location. Been going here for 20 plus years. I don’t know why I keep going back. i guess because it’s close and my lunch time is limited.
This place is always trying to cheat you. Always check your receipt! Last week I went through the drive thru like I always do for a large coke and a cheeseburger. The cashier told me the amount and I didn’t really pay attention. It’s always been the same $ 2.07. That day it way $ 2.49. When I got back
it hit me. I checked my receipt and they charged me $ 1.49 for the large coke. Two days later I went through again. Same thing. But this time I caught it. I asked the cashier about it and she said huh? I told her the menu board saids a dollar for any size drink. She then adjusted the bill.
Then today a coworker went to the drive though and bought a value meal with a large coke and they charged him $ 1.49. He asked the cashier why he was being charged $ 1.49 and they told him. When you buy a meal then the drink is $ 1.49 if you buy just a soft drink by itself then it’s just $ 1.00 any size.
WTF? that makes no sense what so ever.

This is why we have minimum wage. You have to able to read a list and then pack from the list. Only some employees at this McDonald’s can do this. Hold up the guy behind you and check your bag from the list you have in your head. They only have a screen to look at.

Stopped at the drive-​thru this morning. Waited for seven minutes and the several cars in front of me didn’t move. Finally left. I wish this was the first time this had happened. Do you guys make breakfast every morning? It’s like some difficult process you struggle with every day. But I’m about fed up with this location.

If I could give no stars I would! This visit reminded me of why I don’t do fast food! This place is HORRIBLE! The man taking our order let us get all the way to the end of it before he told us cash only… SERIOUSLY! To add to this their speaker system kept breaking up and when we told him that he sarcastically said «Sorry», in a very rude/​mocking manner. We just drove off and took our business to Burger King, where we were greeted promptly and served without sarcasm.

I’ll say it up front, I love really good food… and I love McDonald’s breakfast… every Saturday. My family and I recently moved and this is the closest McDonald’s now. So far I have not had any bad experiences with this location. The staff has been friendly, although my one complaint would be that their service is not as fast as other locations. My wife has a dairy allergy so I always have to special order and pull off to check her sandwich. So far they have not put cheese on a no cheese request and it’s been about two months. I’d say that’s a good job.

This location is right by my work and I have been going there 3 or 4 times a month for the past 20 years. It’s a roll of the dice with them. Sometimes the food is good, sometimes its horrible. Sometimes the service is good sometimes its stinks.
I’m posting this review today because my coworker just went there for lunch and they would not honor his Golden Buckeye card for a free seniors drink. They have been honoring it every other time he has gone but the manager insisted they don’t nor have they ever accepted the card.
What a way to treat a customer.

This place is horrible on service. I was headed home around 10pm two nights ago, and wanted to go through the drive through quickly to get a mcflurry. I waited more than 10 minutes in line before the cars ahead of me even moved, and by the time I hit 20 minutes without even having my order taken (even though I was sitting right at the screen and they kept taking orders from the cars in the other lane) I decided to leave and go to Burger King instead.
Yesterday I decided to try again for a quick dinner around 630pm. There were a couple girls inside sitting down, and that was it. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, and I waited more than 9 minutes for fries. My order was placed at 625pm and I didn’t get fries until after 634pm. And they weren’t even screaming hot like they had just come out of the frier, they were just warm. They had one girl working the counter and everyone else was taking care of the drive through. I stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes, while two different managers had to help the poor counter girl at different times with placing and fixing orders from others in the machine, and NO ONE questioned why I was STILL waiting. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Avoid this McDonalds at all costs.
They do not fill french fries all the way on purpose. If you buy fries here, they will only partially fill it. The manager there told me that the owners want this done.
Its not like they don’t make enough profit off of fries as it is. a 10 pound bag of potatoes costs $ 3.50 these days. They charge $ 1.89 for a large. Why not just give the customer what they pay for?
Never going back there again.
