Meet the Business Owner

Michael S.

Business Owner

Michael Schuh has spent his life immersed in the beauty industry. Watching his mother, Ada, in her beauty shop, Michael was not only fascinated by the work itself, but was inspired by his mother’s ability to support their family during the Great Depression through her career as a stylist.

Michael enrolled in Weston’s School of Beauty in Hamilton, OH in 1958. Michael’s desire to compete and excel led him to pursue advanced training from the Hornsby & Mores Advanced Hair Design Institute.

Michael began traveling extensively to study under the top hairdressers of the time, and to compete in national and international hair shows. Michael was recognized and rewarded and he became a noted presence in the beauty industry.

In 1974 Michael opened a salon in downtown Centerville. His success prompted the opening of two additional salons — and in 2001 Michael consolidated his three locations into one grand salon in Cross Pointe Centre. Michael’s is proud to celebrate 35 years in Centerville.
