I can not say enough about this hotel and it’s staff. The GM Andy Hurles is truly a asset to this company. With out divulging details I was placed in a very uncomfortable situation that had nothing to do with Marriott and had it not been for the Mr. Hurles and his immediate willingness to solve my plight I would have been sleeping in my car. The entire staff here from the front desk to the housekeepers they are top notch and I will always recommend Marriott from here forward. THANKYOU

I used Marriott points for this quick stay, and was looking for something cheap, which is why I went with a Tier 1 Marriott hotel. I haven’t stayed at a TownePlace Suites before and was just a little nervous about what to expect. I did the king studio suite, and honestly was very pleased with the whole stay. Soft chocolate chip cookies in the lobby, friendly staff, and a clean room. Met my needs of the stay perfectly. Not super fancy, but clean and comfortable. Would stay again for sure. Additionally, if chain restaurants are your thing, this hotel is nestled among what seems like dozens of them.

Rooms are small… there is a continental breakfast with waffles and biscuits and gravy. Room had a loud noise from the pipes early in the morning. But the room was clean with a microwave, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher along with dishes.

A nice place to lay your head when you are ready for bed. I had the luxury of staying here this past weekend. My family and I were on our way through Dayton on the way back to Milwaukee. This area is always a nice place to stop and take a load off because it is near by several restaurants. It is also right off of I-75 so it is pretty easy to get to. It is right off the main road though so it wasn’t very visible from Miller Rd. We arrived around 9pm on Saturday. We were greeted by about 25 people having a family reunion feast on the«front porch». All the people dressed in their red shirts and food in hand was kind of distracting at first but we mosied on through the crowd and finally found the check in counter. We were quickly checked in and treked up to our room. There are two elevators in this hotel that I noticed however there was only one working while we were there. This wasn’t good because we kept hearing«reunioners» running up and down the hall. We were so exhausted that it didn’t bother us much but I wouldn’t have liked to hear them all day long. Long story short. I would stay again but I would like for you to get the elevator repaired and keep the reunioners corralled!

I have to say that this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a hotel in the past 10 years. As a loyal Marriott customer, I would think their customer service would be more responsive. I had a reservation here last Wednesday and I was contacted by the hotel as they had overbooked and wanted to walk me to a nearby hotel. The compensation for walking was below Marriott’s minimums and the hotel was a Comfort Inn. Not really the same thing. I had a client coming in from out of town who basically bore the burden of this fiasco with me. Not really stellar for conducive business relationships. I left a message for the GM who thought it was better business not to get back to me. I left two inquiries on Marriott’s website to inquire about the situation with no response. I am seriously considering switching allegiances to the Hilton chain after this mess. If I could give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, I can’t rate this hotel for the rooms — only the poor customer service. If they would do this to a Platinum level customer, I wouldn’t keep my fingers crossed if you encounter issues. You’ve been warned.
