This comes with a caveat: if you are like me and come here with hopes of leaving with a trim, contemporary slim-​ish suit (the current fad), consider elsewhere.
I was hoping to have my box-​ish suit gifted to me for my best friend’s upcoming wedding turned into a slimmed down, contemporary version. And, since I top off at an imposing 5’6″ on a good day, having a slimming suit is pretty crucial to assuaging my vanity. However, during measurements, the proprietor proceeded to espouse his acute adversity towards all things skinny and slim – sadly, precisely the shape I was going for. Each time I expressed some desire («I’d like these legs slimmed down, I think») was met with some sort of misdirection or rationalization to NOT do it. While I can certainly appreciate the purity of a man’s craft, I think I would’ve really appreciated a tailor to simply do his job and create for me the product I envisioned.
One of the sleeves that I had shortened ended up being sliiiightly longer than the other, which they promptly fixed at no additional cost. Overall, if you’re just looking to have some typical alterations done, this place will definitely suffice.

This shop provides excellent service. I have taken a number of items here to be fixed or altered. The fixed items have come back better than I could have hoped and the altered items, exactly as I expected.
