Sun Pointe Lake Apartments

If I could get away with giving no stars, I would. This complex is literally the worst place to live in Daytona, and that’s saying alot. some of the staff is helpful but there are a few that need to find new jobs. Customer service isn’t their thing. We lived there for a year and it was the worst year of our lives. Our son slipped on oil that was leaking out of a motorcycle parked under the stairwell that we called and complained about 3 times before ANYTHING was done. I took pictures of the spill, the bike and my son’s nose which was scraped up. They came out to «remove“the bike the next day which they moved to the front parking lot. And then proceeded to take a giant bag of cat litter, throw it ALL OVER the stairwell, not just on the spill and then leave the EMPTY bag in the corner. Another time, our bathroom flooded and the maintenence guy Richard, yelled at US for not being home! (We were at work). Just an absolute horrible place to live with rude neighbors that never shut up and a staff whose less than helpful. Also when we moved in, the apartment they put us in had a cat door installed in our bedroom door which we were told would be replaced a week after we moved in. Ha! They NEVER replaced it AND tried to charge us for it when we moved out and ALSO claimed we didn’t pay rent, which we absolutely did. Those people are whacked out over there and that place needs to be shut down. DON’T EVER LIVE HERE!

Sadly I am a current resident here. It’s HORRIBLE!!! The front office never and I mean NEVER are in there. They NEVER answer. The walls and floors are soo thin that if u have a casual conversation in you’re bedroom the people all the way outside could clearly hear everything word for word. The floors are even worse. You can hear every single step you’re upstairs neighbor makes. Then you have a bunch of ignorant stupid college kids that makes all kinds of noises in the middle of the night. A few time they’ll be outside 2am with loud music playing talking like they want the world to know they’re business. I’ve been here for 6months and I promise I have seen 9!!! People that I personally know and more people in whole due to the reasons I mentioned above. Its attractive because electric water and wifi is included in the rent but please don’t fall for this death trap like I have!
