History

Established in 1975.

U-​Store is one of the pioneers in the Self Storage industry, having built the first facility in Daytona Beach, Florida in 1975 and the first facility in the Washington D.C. area in 1977. We now have facilities in Florida, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. We have opted to compete on quality and service rather than price. From our history comes our motto «The Areas First Self-​Service Storage Facility». Our motto says a lot about our company in many ways, but it is our employees who put this motto to work for all of our customers to see and experience.

Manager

Hello, I am Kathleen. My husband Gary & I are the resident managers at U-​Store in Daytona Beach, FL. We both have been with U-​Store for over 14 years and enjoy being part of a company that values and appreciates the customers.

Everett is our Assistant Manager and has been with U-​Store for 5 years. His sincerity and humor are only a couple of the reasons that our customers like him.
