History

Established in 1996.

In operation since 1996, ‘out/​back design group’ began purely as an architectural consulting entity. — As a division of our commercial firm — BAG, (brummel architectural group) hoped to connect with the typical homeowner, one who might never consider utilizing an architect to enhance their own built environment. Whether it’s a personally designed kitchen, porch, cabin or home, we believe everyone has their own special dream/​space, their own special ‘out/​back’, in mind. It’s that perfect space where we recover at the end of the day, on the weekend, or ideally, should live in all day long.

Each and every one of us deserves to have environments that refresh our beings, and invigorate our senses.

We analyze your wants and needs, explore the many interior and exterior spatial possibilities, marry your goals with practicality, integrating your in/​side space with your out/​side space. Once you define what is to be built, we will three dimensionally assemble those ideas into the wonderful

Brummel’s past resume of work includes theaters, libraries, police stations, community centers, highrises, religious and education facilities as well as extensive ADA work for the US Postal Service.

Most recently, he completed construction of a 16,000 SF Welcoming Center Expansion to Resurrection Parish in Green Bay and a design for a new restaurant in Downtown Sister Bay. «All of BAG’s corporate, campus and commercial work aside, every ‘out/​back’ allows me to get in the architectural trenches, being involved with people one on one, helping them achieve designs to make their homes better.»
