I don’t know how many stars to put when I just have a comment or a question. I went to a meeting last night and the owner of Fetzer’s was at the meeting. I’ve been by this place so many times it’s not funny and never noticed it and even if I did I wouldn’t have gone in because it’s a bar. I would be going by myself so that’s why I wouldn’t go in. I asked a friend about it because he seems to know every place in and around our neighborhood and he said he’s never been but his daughter went for lunch. She says they still smoke in this bar. Does anyone know if that’s true? I heard the food was good but I don’t think I want to go if they smoke. There is another small bar in Dearborn Heights at Gulley and Ford Road that I stopped at for lunch one day and they smoke in there, too. What about the law you guys?

If you plan to eat here, make absolutely certain that Cheryl, the main daytime bartendress/cook is on duty. DONOT eat there if Cheryl is not on duty. If she is, though, go for it. She is amazing. The menu is very standard, don’t expect variety, but try their T-Bone steak and ask Cheryl to drop it into the fryer for a few secs at the end. YUM. And if you sit at the bar you can watch Cheryl in action. She never stops moving and it’s crazy fun to watch what she does. Deep-fried medium-rare T-bone. Serious YUM!
