Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Service

I couldn’t even get through the service call to have a review of the work. From the set up aspect, Roto-​Rooter is bad. I understand that a company may not give a quote over the phone, however it would be good business to give an estimate. I had an emergency plumbing issue and all the dispatcher could say was «The tech will give you a price when they arrive». After looking up other reviews, I found that they have a travel fee that the dispatcher didn’t even explain when setting up the appointment. I promptly cancelled and went with a local company.
The name is known for plumbing because of the heavy marketing campaigns, however customer service is lacking. I checked there fb page and now I am disturbed. They have a lot posted about being #1 in sales. I bet you are if you don’t give prices until you get to a job. A person with a basement full of water just wants the problem fixed and will pay what is needed at that time. Smh
