If you have quality cutlery that needs a tune up, this is the place. My 20 year old J A Henckels Pro «S» knives have never been professionally sharpened, and I was looking for a place to get it done, and I found this wonderful business. For $ 2 a blade, I was able to get 5 knives and a cleaver sharpened for $ 12. They are now RAZOR sharp. Their clientele are mostly butchers and restaurants, and If you are looking to acquire new commercial quality knives at a great price, they sell Victorinox Forschner and Dexter brands. In addition, they rent private label knives to restaurants, and when the knives reach the end of their commercial life, they sell them for get this… 4 knives for $ 10. They are not pretty, but fully functional.
Any foodie who cooks needs to head here. I guess the secret is out.
