A nice little book store with nice staffers and a LOT of used books — if you are a fan of used book shopping(which is of course its own unique sort of experience), you’ll have a great time here. Prices are great, especially on paperbacks. Like many used book stores, some of the shelves absolutely groan under the weight of romance & pulp. The«literary» section was a little light, but then again I’m sure they’re at the mercy of what’s available to buy. I came here to pick up books for a book drive and happily left with four books absolutely stuffed with paperbacks for about 50 dollars. I strongly recommend a trip to Rodegher’s!

This is my go to book store. It’s a small place, but the staff is incredible. They make you feel at home to browse, buy, or just chat. Don’t always expect to find the exact title you’re looking for, but the categories have a wide range of selection. The prices are great too!

I do enjoy how clean this bookstore is and how well organized the bookshelves appear to be. For mainstream mystery, fiction, and romance I find that this is a good choice to find classic authors. Also, there is a section for new releases and you can often find hardcovers for excellent prices there. As I am a huge sci-fi/fantasy buff especially for the newer authors I had a difficult time finding the particular books that I was looking for. But when I just looked for something interesting to read I had no problem finding what I needed.

Located right next to Richter’s Chalet, it is a nice place to swing by before or after downing some German cuisine. The organization is odd, some categories are less than clear cut. I found authors in several different sections, but not necessarily the correct section for the genre of a particular book of theirs I found. I did like the shelving and neat appearance of the stacks but the experience was frustrating because I had to hunt and peck. The upside of it all is that both James and I managed to find a couple of interesting books. They have a good variety and not just the endless romance, Oprah recommended and mystery sections you find at some bookstores. I like a diversity of reads myself. Prices also seem quite cheap with trade ins which works for us. They are having a Sidewalk sale September 24 – 26 and the woman at the register told me everything they put outside will be priced at a buck. I will be back for that. You neer know what you will find.
