Specialties
Welcome to our shop! We feature old fashioned atmosphere and personal service with an emphasis on consistent work and building long term clients.
We’re not open 18 hours daily, located in the mall, or have a new hair cutter for you each visit, like the big chain shops, but if you’re looking for friendly service, reasonable prices, and the same folks here to serve you, don’t let the old-fashioned atmosphere fool you, we offer the latest precision haircutting by experienced master barbers.
Some of my customers/friends have been coming to me for over 40 years. Our mission is to continue the tradition, welcoming new friends, always. See our reviews at www.kudzu.com/merchant/756 575|1.html
History
Established in 1982.
Over 32 years ago I opened my first barber/style shop after working in several local shops for 12 years. I had been treated well by each shop owner but also had my own ideas as to how a shop could better serve and grow its client base. Eventually this led to the decision to form my own shop. It wasn’t long before my business grew, and I needed a larger location. We’ve been in our current location over 21 years, and have 5 barbers. This has been a comfortable and manageable size, enabling us to recognize the folks who visit our shop regularly, which is important to me, and has also helped to grow my wife’s real estate brokerage as well. The two businesses have proven to be very compatible.

Chuck S.
Business Owner
I received my initial barber and hairstyling training and licensing in the State of Maryland. Moved to Atlanta in 1970 to work in an upscale men’s hairstyling shop in Buckhead. Took numerous advanced styling classes including Jim Markham, Jay Sebring, Shape Up, Joe Carlo, plus hairpieces and razor cutting. Eventually decided to get back to my «roots» no pun intended. Have enjoyed being a barber for these many years, and the rich relationships formed along the way. We built a thriving business from a modest one chair shop. My wife Becky and I began investing in real estate, she became a successful broker, as well. Our business and social lives will always revolve around our beloved barber shop.
