We carry a complete inventory of the most reliable, tried and true grip and lighting gear. Day 1 provides the best equipped 1-ton, 3-ton and 5-ton trucks in the area, with grip and electric packages on board. We supply Fisher dollies, generators, and lighting instruments ranging from 100 watt Dedos to 30-light Dinos, Kinos, 200w, 400w and 800w Joker kits, and a full array of Tungsten, Kinoflo and HMIs from 200w to 18K.

Founded and operated by two gaffers with fifty years experience between them, our owners are still involved in production throughout the Southeast.
Day-1 was established in 1983, with the goal of providing personal, exceptional service, the company has since supported commercials, industrials, music videos, still photographers, feature films and television series.
