Owner and founder Dana Lisa Young focuses on helping people understand and heal from the energetic and emotional causes of illness. She has a highly intuitive style and is able to discern imbalances during healing sessions with clients. Often, these imbalances reveal many things about the physical, emotional and spiritual work needed to bring about deep healing and change.

Dana is a certified Komyo Reiki Kai Master teacher, life coach and spiritual director. She is a member of Komyo Reiki Kai International Association and Spiritual Directors International.

History

Established in 2008.

I have been a Reiki Master Teacher since 2006. I received energy healing during a business trip to India that brought about immediate relief of neck and back pain. It was a profound experience, and upon my return to the U.S., I learned the healing art of Reiki for well-​being and balance.

After practicing Reiki on myself, family and friends for a couple of years, I was asked by my chiropractor to provide Reiki sessions to her patients — and Dragonfly Reiki took flight.

I’m a certified Shihan (teacher) and practitioner of Komyo Reiki, a traditional Japanese style of Reiki. I was taught by the founder of the system, Hyakuten Inamoto, a Buddhist monk who lives in Kyoto, Japan.

I am also trained in Foot, Hand and Ear Reflexology, and other energy-​based techniques used for emotional balancing and release, including EFT.

I am also a writer, wellness coach and meditation instructor, specializing in spiritual and personal growth.

I am a holistic healer, teacher, writer, intuitive, and spiritual life coach, offering energy-​based therapeutic healing and holistic guidance to support people on their wellness journey. I am especially interested in the energetic and emotional causes of illness, and am skilled at discerning energetic and emotional imbalances in the body during client sessions.

I have 20+ years in corporate management positions as a team leader, mentoring and guiding others to develop their gifts and reach their goals. In 2008, I was called to shift gears and offer my skills and gifts to help others on their healing journey.

I am a certified Komyo Reiki Kai Master Teacher and a certified life coach. I have also received training in several different energy healing techniques.

I am approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a Continuing Education Approved Provider (# 451 961 – 12.)
