I attempted to take a few things in-​all of which were in great condition, in fact better condition than most of what I saw on the sales floor. They refused to take anything that I brought in and with such attitude, I world never set foot in this place again. If you do not want to accept anything from me do it with a smile, don’t look down your nose at me! Their furniture store in Avondale is much easier to deal with and with a much friendlier staff. The clothing management needs to change.

Overpriced thrift store. Lol They do have quite a few high end pieces but be prepared to see a mark up from regular thrift stores. This is the kind of store that you go to look for interesting, unique, and high quality things in.

I would rate less, but this store just isn’t for me and I don’t want to blame them for that. This is a store for folks who are into name brand, high-​price items. I am not one of those people. I saw an item there that was over $ 300 (brand new) marked down to over $ 100. Yeah, that’s probably a good deal. But am I interested in pay over $ 100 for something. No. The jewelry prices were much more style. Not the hugest selection, but not bad. Definitely comes off as a boutique store rather than a consignment store. The consignment store I go to has a much broader range of prices and much more supply. They had a decent number of menswear items, as well.

I’ve been a fan for some time – reasonably priced, stylish items and a great location. But within the past 6 months, I’ve noticed the quality of their items go waaay down. Stains and damage on several items the last 3 times I’ve been in there. I bring it to their attention each time, as I hate to see the quality of the store go down… and yet, nothing has changed over the course of 6 months. I went in last week, and again – 2 items I’d have bought had holes or tears. I’ve heard others bring this issue up while in the store as well. Staff response is that «it must happen on the floor.» I find it hard to believe that customers consistently put holes or tears in items or spill food/​drink on items to this degree.
C’mon, Finders Keepers – please examine items more carefully before taking them on consignment! As much as I’ve loved this place in the past, I’m reluctant to shop there now!

I have been consigning with this boutique for several years and with Betsy at the Finders Keepers Home store for probably 15 years. I will never consign with the boutique again. I took some beautiful fall sweaters in yesterday. Most were European labels such as Pure Collection, Wrap London, and Peruvian Connection. I mostly wear Eileen Fisher and labels of similar quality. The ditzy sales girls rejected all but a few of the items because they didn’t recognize the labels (or the quality apparently). For example, they rejected a brand new black Cashmere sweater from Garnet Hill. (I lived around the corner from the store for 7 years, and I know what sells in Decatur. They have always raved about the things I have given them in the past.) When I questioned their thought process, they had nothing to say. Well, it worked out great for me. I found a great consignment shop closer to me that happily took every piece. I am now rethinking my relationship with the other Finders Keepers (even though I love Betsy).

This place has such potential. The staff is so unorganized and don’t seem to know what they are doing — except for the dressing room attendant, she was nice and helpful. The room with all of the handbags is a nightmare. I’m a purse hoarder, so when I saw a wall of purses, I got excited. But, then I tried to peruse them and then it started. Look at one, three fall from the hooks, put those up, 2 more fall… And so on.
If you are looking for ladies plus sizes, they have a couple of racks– something you do not see everywhere.
They get three stars from me because I left with a pair of NYDJ jeans and a Chico’s blazer.

I was on a mission to find more work pants as well as a fancy frock for a wedding and figured I would give Finders Keepers a shot. The prices seemed reasonable, and the clothes were all in great shape, no Goodwill smell to be found. The organization of the garments by type, size, and color was super handy. There were even snacks by the chairs facing the dressing rooms so that was a nice touch. The dressing rooms are self-​serve so you don’t have to ask a staffer to open up a room; I hate locked dressing rooms.
I didn’t interact with the staff, and no one said hi to me upon entering even though I heard them say hi to some other people. Maybe I just sneaked in stealthily. Unfortunately I left the store empty-​handed but I decided that it would be worthwhile to return in the future when there’s some new stock mixed in.

This was my first time there. Upon walking in the door, my daughter and I were immediately greeted and informed of the sale taking place. Merchandise was sorted by color within each size range, which I found to be VERY helpful. Hardwood floors and lovely displays made it an aesthetically pleasing experience. Cute dressing rooms with drapes and comfy chairs for mom to sit and give the thumbs up/​thumbs down opinion as daughter tried things on. They also had a nice selection of shoes and accessories, including jewelry. *THANK YOU for being so discerning about the brands/​labels you will accept. The quality of your merchandise is outstanding and your staff was very friendly and helpful.* We will definitely shop there again.

Huge store with a great selection! I just got through the skirts and dresses because I found so many good things that I’m going to have to go back later for tops and pants. I got a cute coral work skirt for $ 6, a printed Loft skirt for $ 10.50, nice Calvin Klein dress for $ 13.50, a long skirt for $ 12, and an ankle-​length dress from Ann Taylor for $ 16. All the clothes were in great condition too. You can tell by their inventory that they only accept nice, almost new clothes. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Great style, average staff. Cute dressing rooms. Great location. Mediocre hours. Prices are fair but not bargain basement. You can tell they’ve weeded out a lot of the lower end items… which makes it a good place to shop but awkward place to consign your old clothes. (A la Portlandia)
I got a marc jacobs percy bag here for $ 50 when it sells for $ 198 new or $ 98 on ebay.
Sometimes staff are socializing a lot which slows down the checkout line. It is usually fine but one time I just gave up and put merchandise back when a staffer was yammering on about how he failed the MCATs. :)

I stumbled in here with some friends when we were getting some lunch next door. While there is a decent selection, it is just like any other consignment store. However, the attitude of the employee at the cash register is absolutely horrendous. The girl I had the misfortune of speaking to was haughty and condescending. My girl friend noted that every thing she said (when we asked some questions) the sales girl would reply in a very pretentious and rude tone. Terrible customer service. Yes, we understand that you guys *direct quote* «only carry high end designer» clothes, but the salesgirl’s attitude indicated that the customer service training she received was anything but «high end».
At this rate, I would just rather pay some extra cash at an actual designer store for quality customer service.

A good deal don’t care who finds it. I make a periodic stop just to look and see what’s available. It is possible to pick up an Ike Behar, Tasso Elba or Robert Graham shirt as well as decent jeans all in very good almost new condition.

This is the best menswear consignment store in the Atlanta metro, in my opinion. I both consign and shop at this store, so I’ll address both.
Shopping:
Good: I’m consistently impressed with their selection. A $ 1500 D&G blazer for under $ 100? Yes, please! I’ve browsed through their larger-​sized clothes (S, M, L, etc.), and they have a pretty good selection! Most of the designer pieces a Finder’s Keepers run either Medium or larger from my experience, so you have to be patient and wait if you’re a smaller guy, but it’s worth it! I’ve found Prada pants for $ 30, Armani slacks for $ 40, and a couple other pieces I really enjoy here. They also have a nice selection of designer ties as well as shoes and accessories.
Bad: My only complaint is that there aren’t too many sizes that fit me here (x-​small), but that’s not the store’s fault.
Consigning:
Good: The staff is always pleasant when I visit them, and the clothes that I take (usually brands like Guess and J. Crew) almost always sell, so it’s worth my time. They wouldn’t take the clothes if they didn’t think they could sell them. Be sure to read their consignment policies and brands they accept before taking anything in!
Bad: I don’t like this 40⁄50 split in favor of the store for items under $ 50, but hey: it’s more than I’m going to get if I took them to Plato’s. A 50⁄50 split is always the most fair, in my opinion.

As with the other location, this is a consignment store, not a thrift store, so the prices and merchandise quality is stepped up. The men’s section is separate from the women’s section (I think it was two storefronts that they joined together). Inventory seemed slightly sparse, but I was still able to find some lovely items including some almost new cowboy boots. Combine this with a good tailor/​alternations person, and your wardrobe will be significantly stepped up!

In response to the director of communication Caseys prior followup. First, I find it ironic that the director of communication decides to communicate with a dissatisfied customer via Unilocal en lieu of calling me. Secondly, the shirt was in the store front on a mannequin but it was under layers of clothing. So there was no way a prospective buyer could see it. I know common sense doesn’t grow on trees but I expect a retailer who specializes in selling people’s clothes to employ some.
Lastly, the staff had nothing short the attitude of a bunch of princesses. They could have cared less about my dilemma caused by their stupidity. I guess selling peoples dirty used clothes makes them feel high and mighty.

Finders Keepers is a Sure Keeper! This place is an awesome place to venture to if you are on a budget and still want some quality in your life, this is an excellent place to get your shop on. While I did not venture in the men’s section, I can say the women’s section was pretty amazing.
I got a lovely J. Crew Silk shirt and a nice Jones New York Cardi. My friend scored a demin military skirt for 10 bucks too! The awesome find was a Tory Burch dress, at only $ 95! (Sadly, still too expensive for me, but nonetheless, a nice fact to know!)
They are lacking on plus sized clothes if you are a big or tall gal. The XL selection was pretty slim, and no plus (1X and beyond). If you are around a size 6 to 10, you are going to make out like a bandit. The purses and jewelry need a little bit more pizazz as well. Nothing really jumped out to me.
My check out experience was lovely. I cannot wait to come back. If I was a local, I would so sign up for their email list. They will email you when there are sales and new items in store!

With the new year comes clearing out the old and bringing in the new-​this place is great for both. Ultimate recycling!
I’ve had really good luck selling things here and scored some great jewelry and a pair of sequin pants the last visit. They get some amazing designer pieces in if you have the wallet for it.
The staff is quite nice. For some reason, I always look like a total slob housewife when I bring things in for consignment, and I’ve never been given attitude at all. Appreciated.
