History
Established in 2013.
John started his career with State Farm over 6 years ago working for a top agent in Warner Robins, GA. After successfully demonstrating that he could write, service, and manage the policies at a high level, he made the transition to ownership In Decatur. The office is described as a perfect mix between both past and present. For instance, the office is paperless, does not have a fax machine, and encourages everyone to utilize State Farm’s online resources and mobile app; yet, they still take the time to add value and education, build a relationship, and manage to get over 95% of clients to come in for reviews as life changes. These relationships and recommendations, matched with State Farm’s outstanding claim service, are the reason that his clients typically don’t leave, and end up referring friends, family and co-workers.
Meet the Business Owner
John O.
Business Owner
John is a native of Thomaston, GA, where his parents moved from Gainesville, GA when he was 5. He finished his B.B.A. in Finance at Georgia Southern University, where he was involved in several organizations on campus in leadership roles, including his fraternity, the Office of Greek Life, and the Office of Student Media. He knew he wanted to own a business one day and stayed at GSU for another year to earn his M.B.A. After considering several major cities and opportunities within those cities, Decatur stole his heart with a drive down Ponce and a weekend experiencing Decatur with some local friends. The business has been growing rapidly ever since, and John plans on being in the «little house on Church Street» for many years to come! He attributes this success to hard work, word of mouth from satisfied clients, and referrals. Our internet presence and marketing are complementing these efforts, but, at the end of the day, it is my staff’s helpfulness and attentiveness to detail.”
