History

Established in 1992.

Operation Street Harvest was founded in 1992 by Bishop Dr. Tonya Sumner Brown. In the past Dr. Brown has had two other thrift stores, a food bank ministry, a street ministry and a homeless shelter. T&T Thrift Store is Dr. Brown’s third thrift store.

Business Owner

Bishop Dr. Tonya Sumner Brown is the founder of Operation Street Harvest Inc. OSH was founded in 1992 and is a 501 (c)(3) non-​profit organization. Our mission statement is to provide a holistic ministry to the homeless, working poor and at risk youth. Dr. Brown partnered with Dr. Tonie Tate in 2013 and they formed T&T Thrift Store (6,000 sq ft). T&T Thrift Store’s motto is «Neat, Clean and Organized». T&T Thrift welcomes community service workers and volunteers.

The other services offered are: A Love Counseling Center (which offers court ordered/​DFCS evaluations on anger management, substance abuse, moral reconation, child impact and parenting classes. We also offer an eight hour comprehensive class on the above topics.
