We had their service for over a year. We had no problems until this summer. And boy did we have problmes. The telephone and internet would go out for a day at a time. They would not prorate your bill. Most of the time they don’t answer the phones, either, when you call to report a service outage. A few times I had them pick up and then hang right up on me! I’m pregnant and need a reliable phone service. Plus, I’d called over 5 times about my reception having lines and being grainy and they did nothing about it. They sent out guys that came and looked at it but that never tried to fix the problem. They kept saying someone else had to do it.
I called to cancel my service. I asked for the lady’s name I was speaking to and wrote it down. Later, when I called they told us that noone worked there by that name and I didn’t cancel the service on that day. They won’t refund my over payment or my modem deposit!
They are now owned by Knology, which seems to have better customer service if you call them directly, but if you call the local pcl-​knology office you get the people that keep giving us the run around and won’t give us our money back.
