Specialties
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor working with individuals, couples, and families who are facing challenges related to difficult transitions. I realize that it is rare to really love what you do. I am fortunate in that respect, because I really love what I do and feel humbled each time I get to be a part of my clients’ journeys toward wellness. It’s important to me that my clients find value in our work together and I regularly check-in with my clients to see how they are feeling about their progress in therapy. Psychotherapy, caregiver support groups, and family consultations are available with an understanding for busy, working people. I offer flexible appointment times to that our work together makes your life easier.
History
Established in 2014.
After years of working in hospital and agency settings, I decided to design a private practice that could meet the needs of real people who are often times overwhelmed by their many roles and responsibilities.
I have worked with older adults and their families for many years and understand the specific demands that challenge this important and growing population. Older people and their caregivers often feel under-resourced, alienated, and flooded with strong emotions. I sit alongside my clients with gentle encouragement and a wealth of resources to help restore their mental wellness.

Business Owner
I realize that it is increasingly rare to really love what you do. I am fortunate in that respect, because I really love what I do and feel humbled each time I get to be a part of my clients’ journeys toward wellness. I’ve worked in hospitals, hospice’s, outpatient agencies, and in crisis stabilization for the past 12 years. It’s important to me that my clients find value in our work together and I regularly check-in with my clients to see how they are feeling about their progress in therapy.
I use Feminist Theory to understand the social context of my clients in order to break down barriers that may be keeping them from making the changes they want to make. Many of my clients are experiencing a change in their professional and family role. I use Existential Theory to help explore the purpose and meaning of my clients’ lives so that they are empowered in their new roles.
