Tadpole Studios is a contemporary children’s photography company based in Atlanta. Founded by April Tillman Gabor, a graduate of the prestigious School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, Tadpole Studios specializes in capturing the unique spirit of every child.

While everyone desires beautiful imagery of their loved ones, it’s not always easy to compliment a nice room with family photographs. We believe that photography and interior design go hand in hand. April’s work has been featured in numerous publications, including a cover story of the UK’s best selling home design magazine, Living Etc. With a fine art background and keen eye for good design, April will guide you in creating heirloom pieces tailored exclusively for your home.

History

Established in 2007.

After gaining invaluable experience working for legendary National Geographic and Magnum photographer, Steve McCurry (most recognized for his famous photograph of the Afghan Girl with the piercing green eyes), April Tillman Gabor struck out on her own to create Tadpole Studios.

Founded in the heart of Manhattan’s NoHo district, Gabor began photographing children in and around NYC full-​time in 2007. In late 2011, she relocated the business to Atlanta, GA.
