Meet the Business Owner
Sam C.
Business Owner
Our company started in 1991 with a focus on building hazards such as Mold, Air Quality and Sick Building Syndrome. Envirotest then naturally progressed on to focus into Asbestos, Radon and Lead Paint testing.
Our first air quality sampling for mold (fungi) on a building was performed in 1992 to determine the cause of mold growth in an attic. This specific test was performed well before most mold (fungi) testing firms, laboratories and consultants even thought of mold testing in construction as a viable business.
Our mold expert is Samuel N. Cohen, he has over 27 years experience in the Environmental Science field, has intimate knowledge of Construction Codes, and can determine air quality problems quickly and then recommend the most cost effective ways to solve your air quality problem. He is an innovator in the Mold field who was one of the first to use a thermal images to inspect for water damage in a home.
