History

Established in 1987.

We at Plumbing Solutions, Inc (formerly TJ Sullivan, Inc) long ago decided to concentrate on the «service, repair and remodeling» business. This niche requires some special adaptations in order to remain successful. Number one is the realization that we are dealing with people, not just pipes and fixtures, and that means satisfying each individual client’s idea of service. We must be punctual, clean, and readily available in addition to knowledgeable and competent, and we constantly strive to keep improving in all those categories.

Business Owner

I started plumbing with my father, Tim Sullivan, at a very young age when he would take me out on service calls over the summer or after school and I fell in love with it!

After graduating from Bentley University in 2006, I quickly joined my parents at Plumbing Solutions, Inc. and I am currently a Plumbing Apprentice while I also help out with administrative and marketing work.

Working in a family business is a wonderful experience and I hope that one day I will be able to see my children everyday working with me at Plumbing Solutions, Inc. also.

Friend recommended that I call Plumbing Solutions after I had exhausted all of my knowledge and strength to try to remove an original (60 years) toilet fill valve. The efficient answering service promptly answered my call and took the necessary information. Matt returned the call within 5 minutes. He offered to come the next afternoon but I had to put him off a day. Matt and Kevin arrived promptly at the arranged time. They quickly assessed the situation, alerting me to the fact that it was probably going to be in my best interest to replace the overflow drain pipe at the same time. Less than 90 minutes later they were done, left the premises in great condition. They had also given me the option to replace the entire toilet with a new more water efficient model. We both agreed that the porcelain was still good with the old model and that because this bathroom got little use, it would not make sense to to replace the entire unit. Friendly, courteous, efficient, (and I feel reasonably priced). What else can you ask for! I will definitely call on them again, when needed. Bruce A. Needham, MA

Called plumbing solutions in dire straits. Had problems everywhere in the house and no idea what to do. I don’t understand plumbing at all. Enter Matt — he calmly walked me through how to fix everything and got the job done in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Needed someone to fix a leaking whole house water. Found Plumbing Solutions in the Hometown News, called them on a weekend and never expected to reach an answering service. I heard from them shortly after my call and scheduled an appointment for Monday afternoon. Matt came out, looked at the unit and discovered it would need to be replaced. He was out the next day with the new unit and we were good to go without any dripping. I would definitely use them again.

Full disclosure: I have been friends with Matt for a long time. Between my parents using him when I was younger and myself using him for Residential Properties I manage my family and I have been using Matt and Tim for well over 15 years.
I learned my lesson quickly in the world of property management that when you go for the cheaper service, you get what you pay for. Plumbing Solutions are efficient with both our time and money. They typically swing by the property, take a peek, give a quote, and stick to it. They truly earn the 5 star rating.

Plumbing Solutions has been a fantastic find for us and we have used them on numerous occasions. Matt has made an appearance at our house to diagnose many smaller problems, giving an on the spot idea of the issue, cost and repair options in each instance. He was informative, friendly and polite. He did an excellent job when fixing our bathroom faucet and replacing a disposal. For small jobs and bigger jobs, I would highly recommend Matt and Plumbing Solutions for all your plumbing needs.

Tim is very professional and courteous, and performs great work at reasonable prices. He is extremely punctual and pleasant, and I appreciated how neat he was — he even laid down a blanket over a rug to catch any dirt that was being tracked into the house. I would definitely recommend!

I recently used Plumbing Solutions to:
— Remove an old toilet in the basement that was no longer in use.
— Install a utility sink in the basement.
— Install a spigot in my backyard.
Plumbing Solutions was extremely professional and came on site to give a free estimate. Matt took the time to explain what would need to be done for each task and the level of difficulty.
Plumbing Solutions confirms when they will be on site with an estimated time of arrival. When on site, they are professional and extremely courteous. The job was done right and tidy up upon leaving.
What made me give these guys ‘5’ stars is the fact that Matt took the time to reach out to remind me how to prep the newly installed spigot for the winter because it runs through a crawl space and could freeze. That is above and beyond and the reason why Plumbing solutions will be my first phone call for any of my plumbing needs!

My hubby and I recently just bought a house. 3 weeks in we have found ourselves with 2 leaking pipes from the basement, and one smells like death! I researched online to find the best plumbing service in our area and low and behold Plumbing Solutions was the top one. I called, scheduled a date and time for them to come to the house to take a look and fix the problem. Forward to said date/​time. They were prompt, polite, extremely informative, and did SUCH A BEAUTIFUL job. YAY no more leaking pipes over my laundry room! Prices were very reasonable, and they were very efficient time wise. Tim even went and showed me a couple of things in my house that a new home owner should be aware of (never even had to ask him! awesome.) So bottom line, I know exactly who to call when things go wrong. Excellent service.
