Burger Craze

Nice spot near the beach, friendly wait staff and good food. We stopped by for a quick bite, got the Kobe Beef Sliders and regular fries. Sliders were tasty and a good size. The fries where real crispy. Service was a bit slow but they had a dude playing some tunes so it wasn’t that bad. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere on the beach to eat. It was this recent New Year’s Eve, and I hadn’t had a lot to eat that day, so when my beau came to get me at 11:50, I was pretty hungry. We drove down to the beach, had our New Year’s kiss, then debated where we would go at 12 AM. We chose this… I can’t even sarcastically call it a fine establishment, it’s that bad.
We wait thirty minutes to be served. My stomach was killing me by the time we got our menus. The place wasn’t even that full, maybe five tables were seated and two had menus, the other three were halfway through their meals. When our waitress finally comes to help us, she tells us there’s only two waitresses and one bartender working that night, so I just shrugged and said okay.
Now, whenever I go to an unfamiliar burger joint, I always get whatever is closest to a regular cheeseburger. I figure if they can’t get that right, the rest of their stuff isn’t worth my time. As usual, the waitress asks what we want to drink, my beau orders water and I order a Sprite, my favorite soda. As soon as I say I want a sprite, this waitress goes full on Used Car Saleswoman and insists that we get something «stronger» since it’s New Year’s. I roll my eyes and glance at the drink menu, deciding that if they didn’t have anything I liked, I would stick to the Sprite. I saw they had Cosmos and since I’d never had one, I figured I’d try it, but when I’d finished it, I wanted my Sprite. She agreed, and told me she’d bring both drinks for me.
Skip to meal, we’d both ordered garlic parmesian wings, they were out so I got dirty sauce and my beau got teriyaki wings, I forgot what burger he got, but he also got a chili dog and fries. I also got fries and a regular cheeseburger. The burgers were alright, but my wings were undercooked. As we are all aware, undercooked wings are bad news (can you say «salmonella»?). However, I decided to just take them home and nuke them in the microwave, just in case I had to wait another thirty minutes for some fully cooked wings. I finish my fries, then when the waitress passes by, I ask very loudly and clearly for just another Sprite, and she nods and says she’ll be back soon.
Just when I wonder what’s taking her so long, she comes back worth ANOTHER Cosmo and a Sprite. I immediately tell her to get rid of the Cosmo, but she turns back into the Used Car Saleswoman trying to sell me this drink I quite clearly don’t want. She absolutely refuses to take the Cosmo back, so I make a note to get her name and have a word with her boss later.
Needless to say, my beau wanted his 60 dollars back and we both wanted our time back. As all the (rightfully) negative reviews say, go to BurgerFi, that’s where we’re going for our next date

Wins award for best buns, and that’s saying a lot when you’re right on the beach. Great burger and topping choices. Fries were solid (get the cajun ones), and the sweet potato waffle ones were good too (they have a sweet sprinkle of brown sugar on them). The veggie burger patty is a well known frozen brand that I recognized right away, but that’s OK, just glad they have the option. Was bummed that they were out of veggie dogs though.

The burgers were good and so were the drinks. For a place that is overlooking the water it’s also really cheap. You can add anything you want to your burger which is pretty cool. When we went the waitresses were sitting at the bar watching the Dolphins came (pathetic). Otherwise it was a good experience and you can upgrade your meat to Kobe if you want. The view is definitely killer and they have a lot of things to do in the Deerfield beach area so it’s a desirable spot to have lunch or dinner.

This place is very mediocre. It’s a nice location because it’s right on the beach. In this case, I thought the food would be good. Very dry and bland burgers and fries were okay at best. They need to get some new bartenders up in that place because the drinks are gross and overly sweet. And I love sweet drinks. The service was decent. The only reason this place got 3 stars is because they have live music which my one year old daughter likes to dance to. If you want a good burger by the beach, go across the street to BurgerFi.

Great scenery, valet parking, cheap but good food. Service was great, didn’t wait long for anything. I don’t appreciate live music while im trying to eat and talk to someone, that’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars.

This place has a great environment. Not sure who was the rude server in the previous reviews but we have gotten great service and good food.

After spending a few hours at Deerfield Beach, we were trying to decide where to get a bite to eat in the area, and he chose this place (even though I wanted to go to another place around the corner that has a beach view). After looking at their menu, I decided to order the Holy Guacamole chicken sandwich and a side of cajun fries; he ordered a plain cheeseburger and regular fries. The price of the sandwich ($ 7) was a bit pricey, for the small size of the sandwich, and then sides are extra; but it tasted pretty good. The cajun fries were also tasty, and were hot out of the grease, which is hard to get with some restaurants. I ordered three cocktails: the Mai Tai, which was very good; some type of Zombie drink which was excellent and a Deerfield Sunrise (I think that was the name), which is okay, but I won’t try it again. Overall, their cocktail prices are on par with other establishments, and they don’t water them down. Since we live close by, we’ll go here often. Service was great too. The reason why I give this place 4 stars and not 3 stars, is because the food and drinks tasted just right, and the service was great.

The best Burger on Deerfield Beach by far and an exceptional selection of unique burgers in general, but they need to improve their fries. The beer selection is pretty good and their prices are better than adverse. I’d highly recommend this place to any burger fan. If they change their fries then 5 stars all day long.

The service was horrible in that our waiter MUST have been a used car salesman in the past. Extremely pushy. Very uncomfortable evening.
The prices are inflated and the food is mediocre.
I won’t go back.
It’s really just a tourist trap for tourists.

Decent burger place, good selection but its a la carte pricing so it gets a bit expensive for a burger place if you order fries /​sides/​drinks. I would still go back

Horrible service. I order a rebel and they bring me a diff beer and then argue. Fine. I ask for a stella and they bring me amstel light! Are you kidding me?

I can say that their burgers are nice and juicy. The burger size is about 6 oz before cooking which it becomes 4.5 to 5 oz after cooking. We ordered ours medium and it was cooked as we requested. The meat is really juicy and tasty. The only reason I gave this place a four star is due to their side order of fries. We had the Parmesan fries, it was good but compare to the burgers I expected a little more and better.

Not only poor service, but beyond disorganized to the point where we were getting up for our own silverware and given drinks that belonged to another table. Several random waiters attempted to serve at our table, with no communication between them. One took away the menus before we had even ordered, another brought the check before the food came…
The food itself was actually good, but the other frustrations mean I’d never go back.

I had the kobe burger with fois gras and raspberry jam. It was cooked to perfection and i was surprised it was priced very reasonably too and service was very friendly and efficient.

Not overly impressed with speed of service, but the majority of what we ordered was great. Carolina Jack, Hipster burger, and the wicked dog were as good as you’ll find at any burger place. Cajun fries were above average. Not a huge fan of the onion rings. Servers were friendly, brought my dog a water dish, and did a decent job of checking in on us. We will definitely be back.

Had the burgers and a veggie burger. Excellent taste and the fries are just right. Love the soda machine with all the different flavours.

Headed to Deerfield Beach for a day of relaxation and sun. Looking for something semi quick to eat so we could head back to the sand. Stumbled upon Burger Craze.
I got their Holy Guacamole Burger. They asked if I wanted it pink or no pink. Thought that was interesting. Like a lot of the burger places today everything is a la cart so we got a side of Cajun fries.
Food arrived in a timely manner and service was fine. The burgers were good but nothing that wowed me. I actually wasn’t too impressed with this buns. They were very thick and heavy sesame buns. It felt like eating raw dough and that’s what it felt like in my stomach. The burger itself was good. Could’ve used a little more guacamole. The fries were just dusted with some sort of seasoning. Could barely taste it and definitely didn’t taste anything a him about it.
It’s good for what it is. A fast food burger joint. However BurgerFi was right down the street and given the opportunity I’d head there instead next time.

Went for lunch, I work in Lighthouse Point, so I figured that it would be fun to sit outside and relax. Arrived to a guy that couldn’t sing, but had gone to Flanigan’s on Monday, so that was out.
Service wasn’t great at all, had to get up with my credit card to pay because no one came back to our tablet. Our food was given to a different table and they started to eat it before I could get up to say «Hey that’s mine!»
The view was good and the breeze was good, that is about it. I will NOT be returning, unfortunate for such a great location.
