NOLONGEROPEN! Sad to say, but I really enjoyed getting their bagels while visiting the area.

This place is a real gem tucked away in the Cove in Deerfield. It is family owned, mom, dad and daughter and they are all very sweet. The food is great and reasonably priced and they even have free delivery if you live within a 20 mile radius. There is ample parking as the lot itself is huge and shared with surrounding businesses. The only thing I would do better is to add more tables, its hard to actually be seated here but that’s a testament that the food is good and I would clean more. They have a ton of memorabilia all over the walls and floor as old diner charm but its all incredibly dusty and to be quite honest is makes the establishment look dirty.

I like this family owned bagel place. Everyone so friendly and bagels are good. Too bad you can’t have a bagel and coffee and sit at a table! We went a couple of times and the place was half full and were told you need to order a full breakfast! Unreal! How can they turn away paying customers? Sometimes you just want a bagel with coffee and no eggs !! Too bad I won’t be returning.

My husband had the panache and loved them! My everything bagel with egg and cheese was awesome. The family owned atmosphere made us feel right at home! I would highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area.

If I could I would leave negative stars. One of the worst bagels I have ever ate! They were old and hard as rocks. Coffee was burnt and old. Stay away!!!

This place is horrible. Everything has a layer of dirt and grime on it with the most horrid décor. They call themselves a NYC deli but they are far from it. The place is a mess and they are known to be very rude and not in a «hey, its part of the charm» way but an insulting way. But this is the best way to describe it: I haven’t gotten diarrhea every time I’ve been there, BUT every time I’ve had diarrhea I’ve been there that day. So unless you’re a fan of diarrhea STAYAWAY!

Ordered cornbeef sandwich and fries. Cornbeef was wet like boiled ham… definitely not good cornbeef. The coleslaw was store bought as it was very chalky. The fries were recooked and some burnt. This place is not a good deli for Jewish food…

One of the best little gems that we found in Deerfield was the Cove Bagel & Deli. We stopped back in for a couple lox breakfast bagels and coffee before a day in Miami Beach. We sat at nearly the same table as last time, both ordering the same thing and enjoying our breakfast together. I kinda felt like one of the locals who all come to enjoy breakfast or brunch at their usual table. It’s cozy like that. Next time I’ll try to order something else just to switch it up, although until then I will be thinking about the Lox Bagel Platter.

Love this little taste of New York! Decent bagels, great lox plate, excellent omelets, sandwiches. The matzo ball soup is very authentic. The owners, he from Brooklyn and she from the Bronx, are friendly and committed to great products. The décor is very eclectic and fun. The best thing here tho for me is the chopped liver. I love a good corned beef and chopped liver on rye with a good pickle and they have it!

My family and I were in town for a wedding and we went to the beach then wanted a good breakfast not from a hotel lobby, and we saw The Cove Bagel and Deli and thought it sounded delicious. We LOVED it! They were so nice to us and friendly and we made friends with them enough to come back twice in our short weekend trip! The bagels were fresh and warm and nicely toasted and the salmon was so fresh and so tasty! I have had bagel and cream cheese and salmon and capers before but this one was quite homemade and it showed they take care in their food! Great choice! Whenever we are back in Deerfield we WILL be back! Lunch sandwiches are also amazing with a TON of delicious fresh meat! This place is a great place in an unassuming strip mall, we enjoyed it!

It’s great! But for only one thing. The smoked salmon platter is one the best I ever had it was really amazing… But everything else is nasty. The corner beef sandwich was dry with absolutely no meat and it looked almost like plastic. The chicken noodle soup was nasty too and the group I was with didn’t love their meals either. If they deleted their whole menu except for the salmon platter($ 9) I would give them 5stars

Pass on this. Friendliness is overkill and insincere. Food is subpar.

Halfway decent bagel sandwhiches did not compensate for Rudeness. I thought this was going to be a cute«mom & pops» establishment which made me think small would mean, super friendly… it DIDNOT in this case. Even when ordering take out, i felt unwelcome just waiting there. My friend ordered coffee and stepped outside, so when she asked if I could get her a creamer when I went back in… they stated«you didn’t order coffee» and refussed to give me a little creamer for a friend. Let’s just say they don’t bend over backwards for the customer by any means. We waited a long time for what we ordered and it wasn’t even a peak breakfast or lunch hour. They really turned me off and its too bad becasue its in a nice spot, not worth the money though.

Excellent place to grab breakfast. The food is delicious and fresh and the staff is extremely friendly. You can get a huge meal for less than ten dollars a person. We just moved to Deerfield and love the Cove Bagel & Deli. We will be coming here often!

Dirty. Terrible service – our disheveled, gum-snapping waitress was utterly clueless. After taking our order(two bagels with cream-cheese, coffees and juice, we were told we were not allowed to sit at a table and eat the bagles, or drink our coffees or juice, in the nearly empty store. Imagine, you can’t eat your bagel in their bagel store Avoid this dump at all cost. TF

I’d give zero stars if I could. Tables are 6″ away from each other. You feel like you’re dining with strangers. Truly horrible. Waitresses cutting and scooping bagels with their bare hands. Absolutely disgusting. Roaches in the completely filthy bathrooms. NEVERAGAIN!!! The worst restaurant in Aventura Florida

The Cove Bagel and Deli is a New-York style deli serving breakfast(all day) and lunch. They offer bagels fresh-baked daily. The prices are reasonable; the service efficient. In addition to the typical burgers, hot dogs, club sandwiches, turkey, pastrami, etc. their lunch selections include a turkey and chopped liver club sandwich, tongue, and potato pancakes. They offer New York style egg cream sodas to drink. Interesting side dishes include potato knish. Breakfast choices include hand sliced nova lox in addition to the typical eggs, bagels, pancakes, etc.

Oy! The Jewish fare is more than decent at this modest, hole-in-the wall deli located in a strip center less than a mile from the beach. The portions can be a bit small depending on what you order(a tiny cup of matzah ball soup? Feh.). But the fresh nova on a toasted poppy seed bagel with gloppy cream cheese was a delight. Make sure you get that and not the tiny plastic cup of «nova spread.»(Again, feh.) Next time I’ll try lunch with a Hebrew National ‘dog or maybe one of the yummy looking(if not exactly Kosher) cheeseburgers.
