Embassy Suites Deerfield Beach – Resort & Spa

This is a nice hotel with suites, free breakfast, happy hour. Maintenance is responsive and the. Rooms are nice. However we stayed Christmas week and it was seriously overcrowded. Breakfast is a mad scramble to get food with shortages of dishes and silverware. There is not enough staff to accommodate the amount of guests. There’s not enough room at the pool either. Chairs are not available unless you rise early and guard them all day. All in all, not very relaxing. Probably ok most weeks of the year but now? We’re checking out and going to the diplomat where the facilities are adequate for the number of guests.

My family and I stayed here for 1 night after a cruise. We had a suite with a living room, bedroom, a kitchen, and two bathrooms which was very spacious. The pool area was beautiful, it almost felt like being at a resort in the caribbean. They also have the beach in the back of the resort. While we stayed here, they had the managers reception which had complimentary drinks and snacks. The drinks were great and strong and the snacks were good also. For breakfast the next morning, they have their signature «made-​to-​order» omelets and other breakfast items that other hotels wouldn’t offer. This is why we try to stay at Embassy Suites now when we travel since they offer great services.

It’s a nice location with a great breakfast. We have stay many times before but this is going to be my last. I usually have problems everything with the rooms not be as clean and when you pay for ocean front the most expensive room they locate you at the room. I arrived last night after booking 2 nights, confirmed they had top floors, I pay over $ 900 and they put me with a ocean view of they roof. I complained to the mgr, they answer to me was that is the only room they have available. I checked they site if I could book another room available and of course they have more than one. Mgmt sucks as well the staff. Be aware that you can go any other beach resort pay the same thing here or less and you will be treated excellent as well they will accommodate everything you ask for

Good place to see the ocean. Good breakfast. That is all. Ordered rooms with ocean but got without. Needed to have conversations to change.

I’m a Hilton honors member, traveled around the world.
This is probably one of the worth hotel I never had. 1083 dollars 2 nights for a suite without soap or shampoo. No water in the fitness center which is not update.
Room are obsolete in a yellow color: you feel in an old hospital.
I imagine some room like this for 50 dollars but not for 500 dollars the night.
I had an issue with the payment. When I called my bank I was told that the payment was declined since the embassy tried to charge 200 dollars more by the reservation as the bill I signed on Internet.
I heard a couple of people with the same problem.
I tried to talk about with a nice «desk» manager who gave me a refund after he two times blocked the access to the room…
I have to check finally the final amount tomorrow.
Will Forget this place ASAP.

We booked this hotel 10 months ago for a relaxing 3 days after visiting several friends around Florida and before heading home? Worst Hilton experience ever. They had a Hispanic wedding party with their own loud obnoxious band that took over the nightly guest cocktail party each night and now are playing loud, terrible music directly below our room. I called the front desk only to be told TOO BAD they are scheduled til 10:30 pm. I have a very bad disease right now and really need quiet and rest. Why weren’t we told about this hugh wedding taking over the hotel and disturbing the guests before we arrived??? Or why, as Gold Hilton Clients, were we not put in a room away from the terrible noise???

Its a nice big hotel, good location right at the beach. Very relaxing place. Good service, stuff are friendly and helpful.
The downside of it however is that its outdated. Need more attention on details. For example one of the tiles in the bathroom fell off, silverware could be change they are over used, there was a hole in the deck floor by the breakfast area, hairdryer in the room was working but really dirty.
Overall good place just need more attention.

This hotel is in a nice spot centered between West Palm Beach and Ft Lauderdale airports– and right on the beach. All rooms seem to have balconies– mine has two! The rooms are sizable and have quite large closets. I got an upgraded room because I practically live in Hilton properties so my extra large room has two full bathrooms and a walk in closet. One could easily stay here for an extended period of time. The tile in the showers is quite dated but otherwise the baths are fairly new. The restaurant is huge and has a large outdoor seating area. Alas it was just too humid to enjoy that tonight but hopefully for breakfast! As with all ES properties you get free drinks at the evening happy hour and free breakfast which has all the usual buffet line breakfast foods. What I do like about this location is the proximity to so many things. It’s near enough to Miami to make a day trip reasonable, but not so crowded and way more affordable for a family. The pool is a bit on the small side but you do have the entire Atlantic to swim in!

Positives; Free breakfast with made to order omelets. Evening free happy hour of unlimited drinks and simple bar snacks for two hours. Large and for the most part clean. Stayed in a suite which was really nice.
Negatives; Slowest house keeping I have ever experience. Poor food inside the actual hotel, should go out to eat for lunch or dinner. Small pool that gets burning hot and crowded, especially on the weekends.

I’d like to begin by stating that I exclusively stay at the Hilton brand and have for years. I’m an honors member and had been proud of that until recently. It seems like the brand is slipping away and losing its star status appeal.
My hopes were that this property would be satisfactory especially with these prices. Well I can say that the staff are friendly and somewhat accommodating (minus one unfriendly front desk person). The room, however, needs maintenance and great housekeeping. I was very disappointed to enter into an «old» smelling room. The outdated carpet has rips and tears. The furniture should be replaced and trashed. The wood is completely damaged and one of the chairs is disgustingly stained. It looks like no one has dusted in ages and the wet bar area is atrocious (full of dust). One of the showers has grout molding. I am attaching pictures because this was the most disappointing Embassy Suites I have stayed at.
We checked in on Monday ⁸⁄₁₀ and are checking out ⁸⁄₁₃. This property isn’t for the business person here to conduct business.

Great resort! The staff is very attentive and ensures that you’re enjoying every minute. The ocean is crystal clear and beautiful. Compimentary breakfast buffet and happy hour reception daily make it so affordable. Get the business pkg, it includes parking.

I travel, extensively, as part of my job, have for several years. This is the first time I’ve ever converted reward points, provided by hotels to thank patrons for their loyalty, into a personal trip; a trip I made reservations for in February. I brought my sister with me, to Embassy Suites Deerfield Beach Resort, to honor my Mom’s birthday, the first birthday since Mom passed in November. The hotel charges $ 15/​day for me to park my car myself in a nearly empty two level parking garage; being 45 minutes from the airport and not providing airport shuttle, this seems excessive. We have a room behind the elevator, I’m listening to the elevator go up and down now, at 10pm, as I type this review. When we’ve gone to the pool each morning, we’ve been handed unfolded towels straight from an overflowing bin of unfolded towels, straight from the laundry cart; very unappealing. The first 2 nights we attended the «reception» I was embarrassed to admit the reception here (tomatoes, celery, carrots and tortilla chips) is inferior to the reception at the Embassy I frequent most, a business site in Tigard, Oregon. This last night it improved a bit, with addition of pita chips and hummus. The location here is wonderful, right across from the beach (which is incredible!), wild parrots flying over the resort, old-​world charm without neon-​lit commercialism, all the elements in place for this hotel to create magic for the guests. There just doesn’t seem to be any initiative to engage or cater to the guests. Today, an employee, not working but using the facilities, raised a ruckus at the pool, trying to take shade umbrellas from 2 different guests for her own use; crazy!

Great property with very friendly and attentive staff. The free breakfast was nicely done and presented every morning of our stay. The free drinks at the evening reception were very welcome too, even if the choice of snacks were very limited. Only two real complaints were the temperature in the pool and the size of the balcony in our room. The pool is kept at 88 degrees which is way too warm to be refreshing, especially on 90+ degree days. The balcony size in King rooms is massive compared to the tiny sliver the double rooms have. Lower the temp in the pool and move double beds into rooms with big balconies and this would be a perfect property.

The hotel was very nice and convenient in locations and was beach front. We stayed during sea turtle season and it was very nice to see so many markers indicating nest. The bar and pool stay open into the night which is nice for the kids and parents. The breakfast is also a nice variety.

After staying at the Embassy Suites in Deerfield Beach, I could safely say that I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I were in the area as the rooms were large and luxurious, the service was excellent, the amenities were fantastic, and I enjoyed the added extras like the complimentary breakfast, which I took advantage of every morning, made this hotel an excellent value. Since I was visiting the Delray Beach-​Deerfield Beach area and needed a hotel that was not too expensive and within walking distance, this hotel definitely fit the bill! I booked my stay for 1÷12−1÷17÷2015 in a suite with twin beds and a view of the city for $ 239/​night, which was very reasonable for what the hotel had to offer and the time of year that I traveled. The day before I arrived, I used the Hilton iPhone application to check in and chose Room 722, which was on the top floor and not too close to the elevators. I arrived at the Embassy Suites on 1÷12÷2015 at about 12:20PM, where I was greeted by the bright and opulent lobby as well as Terry, a friendly and efficient young male who checked me in. He said that while my room would be ready at 4:00PM the latest (standard check-​in time), he said that it would probably be ready earlier and took my cellphone number to let me know when the room would be ready. After having lunch at nearby Mississippi Sweets BBQ, which was excellent, my room was ready at 2:00PM and I was impressed, as the room was luxurious, clean, and had little wear and tear. The view of the city, while not an ocean view, was very nice, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. In addition, I also appreciated the microwave and refrigerator, which were helpful to store provisions that I bought at the nearby Publix on Federal Highway (US-1)/Hillsboro Blvd (FL-​810). I enjoyed the complimentary buffet breakfast in BT’s Oceanfront Grille every morning from 7AM-​10AM, which had a comprehensive and well-​prepared selection of breakfast foods and I also found the staff to be friendly, efficient, and accommodating as they made sure I had an excellent experience and also provided me with Turkey Bacon upon request, since I do not eat pork. I also enjoyed the Manager’s Reception one night, where Danielle, the bartender made me a pleasantly icy margarita that had the perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors. The pool area was also excellent, as the pool was clean, well maintained, and kept at a pleasant temperature and the beach was clean and beautiful too! I liked the small but well-​maintained fitness center too, which was open 24-​hours. When I wanted to leave the hotel, I found it was not too inconvenient without a car as it was an 8 – 10 minute walk to the main drag with various restaurants/​shops, a 15 – 20 minute walk to Publix, and the area where the hotel is located is beautiful and very safe! I also have to give shout outs to the other staff, such as Agadirth, a cheerful lady who made sure everyone by the pool was satisfied, John the manager, Rose, a waitress in the dining room, the maids, who were warm and did an excellent job cleaning my room, and James, a maintenance person who always had a smile and made sure everything was in tip-​top shape. If there was a demerit, it would be that they charge you $ 19 to self park and $ 23 to valet in the underground garage, which could add up if you have a car. However, there is no resort fee, so that is good. If I were in the area, I would definitely stay at the Embassy Suites in Deerfield Beach again as the rooms were comfortable and luxurious, the service was excellent, the amenities were comprehensive, and the value for the money was better than average.

Embassy Suites has some of the right ingredients to be a good hotel, but sadly some of these have gone rotten. First, the good — it has a great location and views. Ok, that’s about it imo. Someone needs to spend money on this property as everything else is going to seed.
When I got to the hotel, there was a crazy woman in the lobby. Staff dealing with her delayed my checking in as I was ignored. Room was big but musty and dated. Bathroom shower had the worlds most dim bulb in the ceiling and weak shower pressure. Mattress was uncomfortable — I could feel the springs poking into my back.
There was an overwhelming smell of chemicals coming from the hallway and walls and doors were pretty thin. I could certainly hear a lot of noise.
Parking was $ 23 or $ 19 for self parking. A bit expensive for this type of place but hotels are looking for revenue wherever they can these days. Same thing with the Internet.
Many of these problems could be forgiven if this place was cheap, but it isn’t.

Torn between two stars and three stars but opted for three. Here’s why:
It took many tries to reserve a three week stay here. I would call first thing in the morning; I’d call during lunch time; I’d call at the end of the day. It turns out the people taking reservations here work extremely limited hours so good luck booking your stay here.
Then, when we arrived, we called down to the front desk for an extra blanket and toothpaste. No one ever came. The next morning I ran into housekeeping and asked for an extra blanket and a pillow and toothpaste. I thought this would be an easier request since I saw a huge stack of folded items (which I presumed was a blanket). The gentleman said he didn’t have any of those items and that he would bring it for me. It took three hours.
This morning, I went to the front desk to again request toothpaste (luckily, I ran out today). The front desk person gave me toothpaste but could not give me a razor upon request. She said she would send someone up with it. That was 6 hours ago, and I’ve been in the room the whole time.
So, in terms of asking for extras, don’t bother or don’t wait until last minute.
Housekeeping also comes at random times during the day. This morning, they came at 9 am; the other morning, they came after noon, and one day, they came into the room when I had left for 30 — 45 minutes although I had a «Do Not Disturb» sign on the handle.
Also, I found management to be rather unprofessional. This was observed this past Saturday night when my sister and I were waiting to be picked up and we were sitting in the lobby area. They spoke loudly and didn’t greet guests coming and going.
On the plus side, breakfast is complimentary. This is a great way to fill up. My sister and I haven’t had to eat much lunch as a result. There is a guy who makes omelettes and they have a rotation of french toast, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes alongside eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes. There are a variety of danishes and mini muffins, plain bagels, melons, apples, bananas, oranges, yogurt, cereal, toast and an assortment of beverages. The restaurant staff is friendly and will clear your plates.
As far as happy hour, the two or three nights I went, they served the same thing: carrots, celery, dip, pretzels, tortilla chips, and salsa. Drinks are complimentary during this time as well.

How can you beat this hotel? We stumbled on it by accident and we found a diamond in the rough, so to speak. We upgraded to nicer view, but I don’t there is a bad room in the place. The top features include cooked-​to-​order breakfast along with usual buffet style offerings each morning. The restaurant is top drawer, so you really don’t need to venture out for meals. Private beach. Card access to pool area, which is close to hotel but still offers great view of ocean. We had a fridge in our room that was not working and the staff switched it out at 10 pm within minutes of our call.
We hope to return to Deerfield Beach!

Stopped in with the family for a business staycation. The location is right on the beach in Deerfield. The facility is nice and the rooms were roomy. As it was the off season the place was quiet with only a handful of guests at best. They have their own private beach just beyond the gate and across a small access road. The restaurant on site is good with complementary breakfast featuring made to order omelets and happy hour with complementary drinks. They feature a decent exercise center and business center as well as roomy conference centers. We enjoyed a nice morning by the pool and then headed out about our business.
Overall, a nice stay in comfortable rooms.
