To help strengthen the bond between my hubby and I, we looked for a marriage counselor where anyone else would start their search… Google!
‘Best marriage counselor Del Mar’ was what I searched and after our first appointment, I understood why Nitza’s name was number one in the search results.
She’s very understanding, genuinely caring, non-​judgmental and accommodating. I’m glad that the raving Unilocal reviews led us to her and now I find myself writing one! My husband and I recommend her 100%!

I love Nitza. Not only is she an incredibly talented & insightful therapist, but her warmth, compassion, and genuine care for others makes her one of my favorite people to talk to. I always feel safe and accepted when doing deep work with her, and have experienced massive growth and healing with her support. I 100% recommend her to anyone seeking support, without reservation. She’s extremely knowledgable, intuitive, kind, and truly cares for her patients. I’m so grateful to have found a trusted healer who can help me navigate the waves of life and thrive! I have only looked for a counselor once in my life. I found Nitza through the few Unilocal reviews that had been previously posted. Even though there were only a few reviews, I liked what people said and I went to see her.
Now, a few years later, I am long overdue in sharing with others my great good fortune in finding and working with Nitza! She is kind, insightful, and genuinely interested in helping me become better for myself and for my family.
Nitza has provided counseling for myself, my wife, and the two of us together. She has come to know us and has truly helped us both. I look forward to continuing my work with Nitza.
As I stated at the beginning, I have only looked for a counselor once, so I don’t have the ability to compare. But what I can say is that I found a place where I feel safe, heard, understood, and cared for, but not coddled. Nitza is a straight shooter and has earned my trust. I feel lucky to have Nitza in my life. Five stars are not enough!

Not only does Nitza have a tremendous amount of experience, but she keeps it fresh and contemporary as well! She is not only wonderful with young adults but does a great job with couples as well! I’d recommend her to anyone experiencing life’s challenges (actually I refer clients to her several times per month!)!!!

Nitza is an amazing therapist. She helped me through a very challenging time in my life. She is extremely bright, kind, sensitive, and supportive. She genuinely cares about her patients/​clients. She is non-​judgmental and makes everyone feel comfortable enough to be truly honest. She helped me see my behavior patterns in a way I never had looked at before. Truly one of the best!

I’ve noticed there aren’t a lot of reviews on doctors. While this is Unilocal and seems to be focused on businesses rather than individuals, I felt it was important to speak up about some of the professionals I’ve come into contact with. Finding a good doctor, dentist, therapists, etc is difficult! The sites I’ve seen (not Unilocal) don’t all seem… honest. Unilocal seems to be the more reliable site for reviews from real people with real experiences.
I have known Nitza for at least 10 years. She has counseled me through some of the toughest experiences in my life. She is a wonderful therapist who genuinely cares for her patients. She is always available to either meet or talk on the phone. She is self-​employed so you don’t have to go through the answering service of a doctor’s office. You actually get to speak directly to her! She’s personable and easy to talk to.
I’ve recommended her to family and friends and have only heard good things from them. She is very professional and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg. She is sensitive to the average person’s income regardless of her location in Del Mar. Nitza is a wealth of knowledge and has been a strong support in my life. I don’t know what else to say other than I highly recommend her. If you are going through a difficult time in your life, she is a great person to talk to. She’s become such a valuable and dear person in my life.

Nitza is a marriage and family therapist. I’ve known her for a little over a year at this point and she has helped me tremendously through this time period. She is kind, caring, and accepting of everyone. I consider her my good friend, not my therapist.
